Arrow N.Y.R.A Rotary Meet- August 13th @ Bear Mountain

Alright guys, we have had a few meets held here and there but we are gonna go out of our way and head up for a little drive up to Bear Mountain. We want to spread the love to our rotary counterparts in Upstate NY, so please join us on August 13th, 2006.

This meet is a general gathering of rotary owners to sit down, chat, exchange ideas, tell their rotary saga's. Of course there will always be food and drinks for those that attend.

We will be meeting some Rotary owners from the upstate NY area and be doing a caravan for the NYC/CT/PA/NJ owners to drive up to Bear Mountain.

At the present time we are posting a definite date and will post directions and so forth later on as we secure where in Bear Mtn park we will be at. This should give you guys enough time to clear your calenders and fix ur cars to attend the event.

Food List is below. Please email me your name and what item you will be contributing to the meet.

1. Hot Dogs & Buns

2. Hamburgers - NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO BRING THIS! there were too much left over burgers from the last meet that will get brought to the next meet by Tommy!

3. Corn

4. Charcoal - NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO BRING THIS! Thanks to Chino we had to take back a big bag of charcoal from the last meet. James has this and will bring to the next meet.

5. Chips & Dip

6. Cookies

7. Chicken

8. BBQ Sauce

9. Utensils - NODOBY IS ALLOWED TO BRING THIS! Thank's to Aja I got a huge bag sitting in my living room from our last meet full of plates, knives, forks, spoons, tissue, cups, etc. Anil will be bringing this to the next meet.

10, Pickels, sweet onions

11. Water

12. Soda

13. Juice

14. Ice

15. BBQ Grill - Anil and tommy has this covered as they are the desingnated chefs (Chef Boyardee and Chef Boyardee Jr)

Check out our website at www.nyrotary.com for an updated food list, along with directions and other instructions.

OMG, of course your invited. You guys are invited becuase you have rotaries. You dont need to be just an RX-7, you can be any rotary powered VEHICLE, and an RX-8 fits that category.

New York Rotary Association (We wanted to make it clear that it wasnt only for 7's cause we got 2,3,4,5 , 8's, and other conversions.

Some more info pertaining to Bear Mountain

http://www.hudsonriver.com/bearmtn.htm

This is gonna be a GREAT meet, because we get to get out of the URBAN LIFE of NYC, and get to see NATURE lol.

Who says rotary and nature dont get along...

That park Harriman is right next door to bear mountain. I really am thinking about taking a drive up there and scoping the area out if my boys dont get back to me soon enough. This way i can get directions that will be much easier for ppl.

NOTE: DOnt call me for directions cuz its not my hood, so i only know so much lol

It's only about an an hour from Queens, and that's doing the legal speed limit.

my suggestion is to have the meet in the secondary parkin lot right near bear mtn lodge......
they typically hold car shows there on wednesday nights and on occasion sundays as well so i dont think they would care if we were there ...they would probably just think it was another car show.....

i could give them a call and see about bbqing in the lot as well but i wouldnt think it would be a problem
