did you check out your gears in the transmission? or even your shifter bushings and barings?

Coke i know a lil bit about my car man lol. it the same thing from before i think that when they put in my new clutch they messed up somewhere along the way( fork and bearing not assembled properly or pressure plate to flywheel bolts lose.i mean i think i could probably fix this problem myself but i don't have anywhere to work on it.

I've seen this happen before. It's usually from abuse and the only way to fix it is to pull the transmission, inspect the clutchfork/fork pivot and usually replace the transmission. In the one instance the gear selector was perminately set in reverse, which was an internal transmission problem and it was cheaper to just replace it with a used one rather then have it rebuilt or inspected by a trans shop.

One other thing to check, clutch pedal adjustment at the top of the clutch pedal at the firewall (inside the car).

yea if your pedals not sinking to the floor and sticking there when you press it then you can rule out your master and slave sylinder. I would definitely check it out just in case, if your slave cylinder is original might as well replace it just to be safe.

if it still doesnt work it's most likely a bent fork or a snapped fork pivot ball...seen both happen.

kevin.

Try Checking the Slave Cylinder.Where the "pin" is between the cylinder itself and the Clutch Fork.if it is wet at the rubber. Then,it is leaking,or Fubarred...you could always try to Bleed your Clutch hydraulics to rule out that aspect of it..Now If the shifter did not move when you went to shift,Something may be hindering that.I have had a piece of Shifter bushing Break off and do that Once to me...anyhow,something to check out,if you Start to Seek out the problem.
