Thanks, Dan. Yes, Virginia International Raceway (VIR) is in Virginia. It is a famous road course. The event is organized by Mazda Drining Assoc., www.mazdadrivers.com, March 25-26.

It's long, anywhere from 6 to 8hrs depending on what traffic you hit around DC.
The track though is quite amazing, and the short course is alot of fun too.
I did some time trials a couple od weekends ago on the Patriot course in my FC
try www.virclub.com fo some info

From: We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Its a 9 and a half hour drive if you hit traffic. Not sure which way you would go, but everytime I go up to NY or maine I go the round about way and its accually 2 hours faster, and even faster if you go above the limit in Ohio. Like I siad its the round about.

Takes you up by the great lakes, the ndown through ohio, and through WV and the nyou hit VA. You can flat out fly thorough that part ofWV, OH, and PA. But once you hit VA you gotta slow down. The other way the popo is all over so its slower. Unless you want a ticket.
