May 17th 2009 orchard beach meet

Me and some friends are hosting a big car meet on March 17,2009 at Orchard Beach in the Bronx. I'm not going to lie, there will be alot of Hondas but there will also be alot of EVOs, STIs, Nissans, etc. I'm posting here to try to get more rotaries in the mix, I would love to see us have a presence there. I've heard members of the Vintage Rotary Club will be going there but I'm not 100%, its all heresay. We're expecting 650+ cars or so, it should be a great time.

I think their might be some confusion we are going to Orchard Beach, but its a meet we are having on March 31st. This was scheduled since the end of Jan. in the sticky up top. We have a meet every month, last Sunday of the month. So unfortunately we wont be able to attend, but I don't hold back members from going on their own. We just won't be there in an official capacity. Good luck with the event looks like it will be really nice!

Regards,
Ken

Nah no confusion, I know you guys are having your own meet also on the 31st. Someone told me a few old rotaries were going to come out on the 17th also, but like I said I only heard that. I'm not 100% though. And yeah it should be a good event, I'm just trying to get a better variety of cars to go.

I ended up not going because the forecasters kept saying it was going to rain. The day ended up beautiful and sunny and I was kind of pissed that I didnt just go anyway.

Thats a good idea because we're only parking on a first come first served basis so if everyone comes together we'd have a nice line of RXs in a row instead of them being scattered all over the place.
