Oh yeah, back to 2 pages ago. the wrx struts/springs lowered the forester 2.5 inches. and it handles awesome!
My car should be perfect now, i finaly mounted my cd player so it doesnt try to fly out of the dash when i accelerate hard. and i put in some new plugs and a thermostat because my car wasnt running hot enough.

im looking to raise the legacy for more ground clearance. and i was thinking of just doing the 3.0 or outback legacy springs, and i never considered the forester. ive never read about it being done nor have i really researched it, but these cars are pretty universal. then again, that would be quite the lift... maybe not a good idea. ill keep it in mind though.

why do you need more ground clearance? the legacy's have pretty good clearance as they are.

in rally, higher equals better (for the most part.) i do TSD's on some pretty cut up backroads with some awful erosion that i dont want to do damage on. fix the issue before it becomes a problem.

yeah thankfully most of the roads in the area are really nice... heck even driving down into the town park isnt bad anymore.

If it looked at all sweet to lift your car I would do it in an instant because since lowering my car I hit it on every little pothole and I cringe in pain every time, new england is a jerk to cars. There's a road around my town called "River Styx" road... don't even get me started. There's a reason it's named after a river in hell... PS. Andy I need to see the Forester some time soon!
