where building it to kill honda's . lol they be like how the **** did a mercury beat me lol. the car is owned and titled to me and a good friend. gen saw the shell the mourning of the cape meet when we went to get yd(thats my friend).

allso we have a spare motor a ford 2.3 we pulled from a b2300. where going to convert it to a dohc motor. you say you cant make a sohc motor a dohc motor.
you go get a volvo head do some welding and bam you get you self a dohc ford/volvo motor. na doing this adds 100hps which makes the na 2.3 close to the stock 8psi 2.3 making 220hp. thats why me and my buddy call our group p f m pure ******* magic.

also i was rereading my turbo book . it more or less says 15psi doubles na hp bolt ons. so say you get a under drive kit and it adds 15 hp to a na motor .a motor running 15 psi the same under drive kit would add 30hp. 30 psi 4x hp gains of bolt on parts. i thought this was crazy and a cool little fact. where going to be running around 25 psi. so when we switch to the dohc head it should add around 300hp. i dont know how true this formal is but the book is co written by banks who knows his turbo info.

man i pumped today my g/f is back inspain went to Marco for a week so i was able to have phone sex jk. but she will be home april 29 after she goes to Amsterdam for 420 . but iam even more pumped cause my rear springs will be at my house tomore. then all have left is brake lines wire efan and gauges. skeet skeet skeet.

the car is a rs turbo capri which is a rare car and the main reason we deiced to get it in the shape that car was in. asked gen he saw how i had to replace the floor and other areas.

mustang in drag. depending on how you look at it i think the capri looks better then the svo and gt fox bodys. the fender and 1/4 panels look like skyline/ wrx fenders 1/4 panels.

haha, yeah, i think the capri is cooler. a little boxier with nicer lines on the fenders. and the fact that is going to be a mustang killer makes it even cooler. haha. that dohc idea is neat too. i love when parts from other cars fit to make rediculous hp gains. Like on the mercur xr4-ti. the Cams from a 4 cyl ranger fit it to make a nice little gain. and a bunch of saab turbo parts fit it too from what i've been told. Apparently there is a fast one in lowel with a cosworth body kit.

xr4-ti uses the the same motor as the ranger,b2300, svo mustang, 4 banger gt mustang, turbo mustang, turbo coupe(t-bird),super coupe(t-bird) rs turbo capri and i think there is one more car. funny how the turbo 2.3 make more power then the 5.0 .
only difference are the heads. rangers use dual spark plug heads.

i saw a white turbo second gen pulled over on 93 north after 495 . with flashing blues and red behind him looked like a AE model.

iam going to be going to kimballs all the time with my girl friend. if we get the capri done this year it will be there too yd will drive it and ill drive my rx7.

i got my rear springs and perches today, i installed them and my new shocks.
after i removed the first shock i pressed it in and it never came out, good thing i got shocks lol.

also if any one wants to chill in tewksbury give me a ring 978 761 7907. my cell sucks so if i dont pick up it means iam going to call you back on my house line.
also yet again my uncle races in scca a 914-6 wide body carbon fiber car so if any one wants to go see him race let me know.

o yeah during the nights theres little car meet at the local market basket mainly ricers. never seen a rx there we should crash it one night and ever Sunday theres a free car show in the parking/ plaza in my town, any one down for crashing that. theres a pickadelly pub(sp?lol) in the same lot so we could park our cars get some brews and food then go see how pissed off the old timers are.

look what i won hope the pic is not to big.

Not to nitpick, I'm definitely impressed by your knowledge of ford engines, but didn't the supercoupe tbird have a v6 in it? My friend had one and I thought it was a 3.8l v6 with a supercharger? Is it somehow still the same as a 4cyl turbo in the merkur?

um iam pretty sure there was a 2.3 for a while in them then when they changed the body and stop making the turbo coup they used a v6 sc. let me go check tho.

yup you where right when the changed the body in 89 they droped the turbo 2.3 for a sc v6. i was thinking of a few guys i know who removed the turbo and super charged there cars that i met at kimballs one time.

if i ever put a v8 in my car id probably put a 4.6 dohc motor in it. but that would never fit heck they had to use a different hood on the mustangs that used it.

gen the 5.0 is a bad *** motor you can make 600 rwhp with a stock motor and a turbo kit. they did it in the new ff&mm cost of the turbo kit was little over 1k not bad.
the 80's 5.0 suck because of the emmisons laws but if you replace the 2bb carb with a 4 or efi then your making power .

any ways iam wicked pump i got so much done with my car. this weekend iam installing my front sway bar and every thing else i removed. hopefully ill get my gilmer drive next week e-fan's and brake lines. then all ill have left is making a bumper and hook up gauges. aaaaaaaa i have wood thinking of it.

The 80s thunderbirds were called turbo coupes, not super coupes. That was the fox body thunderbird with the 3 circular taillights. When the body changed for tbirds in 89 the v6 model was offered with a 3.8 supercharged version called the Super Coupe. This was also the only version that got 5 speed transmissions and it also received ground effects.

I used to build up Thunderbirds.

well, actually... ford did mazda a favour by scraping their old wiring systems. trust me, you would want to MURDER someone if you saw the old wiring set ups...

i want this RE-Amemiya rotor decal for the back window my 7... its huge... and kinda... "WHOA HOLY ****" but it looks the ****... and its RE-amemiya! xD

im pretty sure the post you read was wrong xD the Cosmo was a rotary only car. actually, in the late 70's 80's Mazda was almost completely a rotary company... and during the gas crisis, that almost destroyed mazda, which is why they started adding pistons back into their line up.
