how cheap is cheap?

 

idk what used radiators go.... looking to throw something in my DD 90... i have a Koyo that started a small leak from a rock. took it too Cummins for repair. fix my leaky hole. now leaking from opposite side of the repair side. manger out town for the week. rly hate my girl taking me to work :-(

how many years has it been since i last posted on here? HAH.

Some of you remember me as the Supra guy with the RX-7 wheels at the meets 4+ years ago. I am getting out of the Supra deal completely at this point. wanted to put up that I am selling my car if you know anyone who might be interested in it.

I have an add up on craigslist and over on supra forums. Just wanted to put a pointer here since some of you have "screwball" friends who don't know how to deal with rotary and want pistons instead.

also this will be me officially signing off of the rx-7 forums as i am no longer involved with the group at the car level anymore. I dont even live in MD anymore. Those that want to get in touch with me can get my contact info thru Meatball or any of the other car crew from the Laytonsville days.

Anybody in the Baltimore area super familiar with 12a's? Just swapped an engine from an 84 into a 79 and have a few issues I'm having trouble with. Got it running, but it'll only idle with the choke out or foot on the gas. When the engine was in the donor 84, it ran and idled great. Any ideas? Or if anybody is in the area and wants to work on a project any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Vacuum leak perhaps? I'd double check all your hoses/caps and make sure you aren't sucking in extra air anywhere.

 

I did do an emissions delete, so it is possible I missed a vac line somewhere. I'll have to look into it. Realized today that my rad wasn't getting warm at all with the car running, so I'll have to trace that issue down. Just a ton of small issues that will keep me busy for a while. 500$ SA though, so what can I expect.

 

Where are you located? I can swing by one of these weeknights and take a look. You can also check out mine to make sure you have everything hosed right.
