I made this bumper sticker 'cause *I* wanted one and put it up on my Cafe Press site. $5. I've asked one of the moderators if it's OK to put in classifieds, but thought y'all might like one (yes, I'm using you as a marketing test group! )

I was thinking of another one that says "Sit in it and ROTATE!"

I know where we can get 2 gas tanks in junkyards. One out of an S4 vert and the other out of a s5 hatch if that helps any. I mean i would imagine you would have to drop and drain your gas tank no mater what.

lol, this is actually for my corolla I have to replace my current fuel tank for one that supports EFI...

also, the one I'm replacing it with is from the junkyard, that's why it has a hole in it apparently that's how they drain them...

When a car goes in the crusher, the grinding metal causes sparks and can blow up a closed fuel tank. When scrapping a car at my local metals yard, three slices at three inches long, or one foot long one must be made in the bottom of the fuel tank.

I usually hit it with the hatchet a few times or cut it in half with the sawzall.

mine just has about an inch wide hole in it, like they had a really big punch.

If it's out, empty, and dry, I'd imagine anybody with a stick welder can do it. Take it to the local auto-repair training center or vocational technical ed center. They're cheap and an instructor will oversee the work.

I don't see a "Spotted thread", so I guess I'll post it in here.

I saw a first gen rx-7, red, going up 29 north. You got off at 40 west.

We normally have a meet once a month at Fuddrucker's in Columbia, MD around 2PM"ish" on a Sunday. I am not sure how far that is from Joppa but that is the closest one i know of.

Anyone interested in some Chipotle tomorrow night? The Mid-Atlantic Impreza Club is having a meet-and-eat at the Chipotle in Arundel Mills tomorrow night at 7 and you're all welcome to come, if you wish.

I would.... but my e-fan decided it was going to back out it's center bolt and eat my radiator last weekend... I just dropped it off at a race/fabrication shop on rt. 1. hopefully they can fix it.

Since my corolla engine swap still isn't done... I'm driving the girlfriends extra car... a busted rusty CRX

Damn.. That really sucks. I hope they get it fixed!

Oh, I also have a question about the CDC autocross on October 10th... How much does it cost for the event? And should I get a membership?

it costs $25 for members and $35 for non-members. I would probably do a few events to see if you like it before you shell out the $30 for a membership.

me too.. It's an AWR radiator too so a new one would be $500+... and probably take a while to get made.

I won't be at the event on the 10th, I'll be at the autocrossers inc. event. but if you go my girlfriend might be there, and I'll make sure she says hi to you lol.

Recent Encounters

Had some fun '7 encounters in the last 2 weeks.
I passed my 'twin' car on Greenspring Valley Road about a week ago - there's another guy in the area with a red FC vert (his roof is in good shape, mine's shredded!), really weird to see 'my' car on the road! I THINK there are only 2 red 'verts in the area (mine and his), anybody know of more?
Rolled with Shane (87FCna) on I-195 about a week ago for a few miles (that was pretty cool).
Had a guy stop me in the parking lot of the AutoZone on Reisterstown Rd yesterday who owns an 88 coupe. He's on the forum, but my 48+ year old memory forgot his moniker (sorry dude!)
