Did it have a hood? I love how clean mine is but it's steel. I'd love to snag an aluminum turbo hood.

FINALLY getting the 88 'vert back on the road.
New engine install is 90% complete. Mechanic didn't finish it yesterday cause he didn't get the UIM gasket and had to order it. I'm a bit pissed and bummed that he didn't get it running in time for the BBQ, so I bailed. But it should be finished monday.
Bought Blaupunkt Vx542 speakers for under the dash, Infinity 3022cf 3 1/2's for the headrest speaker replace (thanks TofuBall for the work blog entry - it worked perfectly), and still need to replace the door speakers and get a woofer amp.
I've searched extensively, but not found anybody recommending specific models for door speakers - anybody here got a recommendation?
I bought a 8" woofer kit (no box) off eBay and will be building a custom box for behind the seats - anybody got a link to plans for a woofer box for a convertible?
I think I have a family get-together next sunday (don't remember if it's sat or sun) so I might have to miss Fudds...

I'll see if I can find the receipt for my door speakers. They're fantastic and I'd recommend them. of course, I used separates and mounted tweeters in the top of the door panel, and I'd recommend those too

I must go!
I have a pair of front fenders that have been rolled for tire clearance. They were given to me, but I really don't need them. They're not in great shape, a repaint would be a good idea (obviously you were trying to avoid that since you were specific on color, but free is pretty cheap). If you can use them, come pick them up. If not, I'll hang on to them for someone that can use them.

the hard lines or the ruber lines?
hard lines are on mazdatrix for $11 each
http://mazdatrix.com/j-3brake.htm
you can also get stainless steel flex lines (to replace the rubber ones) for $84 for the set
or you can get new rubber lines from rockauto.com for $10-$20 each

The TurboII was, along with a Black GSL-SE.
GSL-SE was mostly complete.
S4 Turbo II was missing front fenders, front bumper, hood, Turbo, and I think the seats.
I think the 5 lug swap was still on it... As was the shortblock and tranny.

Found vendor on eBay : leatherseats.com1 who sells leather seat covers (duh) but have nice looking covers for RX7's. They' re selling black ones at auction with no reserve - they've been going for about $250 for FC verts, but only in black, then they have grey for buy-it-now at $429. Mine are originally grey, but an extra $200 for grey vx black? I'm dithering...

**** that. I'd spend money on a good aftermarket seat WAY before spending it on covers for the stock seats. they were uncomfortable to begin with, new leather will make them look... like new stock seats. Not to discourage you if having factory seats is what you really want, Emory. I just want a seat to be comfortable, and the plastic racing seats I bought from Summit for $49 each for my first FC were more comfortable on my back than the stockers. That's a pretty big deal to me, given the history of my broken old bones
