course we wont know till we see powercurves and videos with them head to head.
these are all products of the resurgence of "muscle/power" cars
just like ford showed off the new Shelby Cobra GT500 with 450 HP

stupid mopar is too busy showing off the COBALT
(the shelby cobra GT500 would be the ONLY Ford branded vehicle i would EVER buy WILLINGLY)

Remember, turbo chargers make PEAK hp. There's no spool time on the n/a car.

theyre both crap. yes i know the cobalt is a chevy.
chevy does have the corvette but they dont push it...the cobalt econocar took over their marketing and mopar had the magnum which is only 350HP and would get whooped by all the others.
they lost the (advertizing) market.
the cadillac line has the new "under 5" models but those arent cars you would normally associate with sporty cars, but they are.
its all getting jumbled up. even looking at the rumored new model of RX-7.
in the end...i wanna see gasmileage on these cars. THATS what people should be showing off. "i can get 70 MPG" "oh yeah...i can get 93MPG" :-p

I donno about big block sports cars :p
I like the idea of high-revving sports cars more then something that just churns out enough torque to pull a house.
But on the other hand, a big block would more likely be able to tear the pavement off the highway when you floor it :-p

Who would sacrifice of low end torque to have more HP? Well, a certain crowd of people . . . who went and bought rotary engine powered cars . . . :p
Big blocks are for trucks :P

EDIT: I should explain this a little better it ties the lower control arms on both sides of the car together with a thick bar that resists twisting when you go through a turn and one controll arm is compressed (loaded) when the other is unsprung with no weight on it. This prevents the "Roll" effect.
