Those pics don't do the car justice. I saw Roan's car Sat night and the paint is absolutely flawless! New hatch and windshield moldings, the car looks f'in incredible with the new wheels! Billy did an excellent job, I would say this is one of the best looking FD's I have ever seen.

wow, thanks anthony, i gotta agree with you about billy's talent tho.

unfortunately right after i left that parking lot to go home, i hit a massive pothole and bent the 2 pass side rims, the body twisted and the hatch his the quarter putting a small chip in the paint and the hood developed a small dent at the hinge.

does anybody know the procedure for getting the city to pay for car repairs due to pot holes?

im determined to have this thing back in perfect condition for the MD BBQ.
that damn pot hole kept me from going to the limerock meet this weekend...

you have to be on the town's ***, go take pictures of the pothole, measurements how far from the road, etc..

I know YEARS ago it happened to me, I bent 2 rims. I could barely afford the rims at the time as it was my first car.
After getting jerked off big time I just gave up.

I do remember some crap that if someone else reported it and they did not repair it then they are liable, but if you are the first to report it you might be S.O.L.

that could vary from town to town so who knows?
Either way its not a quick process, document everything and stay on thier ***.

roan i think the pothole has to be reported to the city 3 times. at different times and people. an if the pothole is not fixed then the city is responsible. have some people call 311, then make your case with the city

Potholes suck! It took me 4 months to get the money for my damaged wheel and tire from the city. Here I had to contact the city hall and get the department of public works. It took a lot of running around and getting transfered from one office to the other but I eventually prevailed. Others have not had the same luck. They will do their best not to pay you for the damages. It helps if you know a City councilor or someone to point you in the right direction.
