im gonna drive the car around for a bit tomorrow morning and see whats up..im scared cause i dont want to be stranded on the highway or at kohls lol

check the vac hose goin to the map sensor, ignition wires to the leading plugs (also check for spark) those are the two quick checks i can think of that will give you that problem

thanks, ill do that tomorrow morning..its funny cause my car has been running flawlessly up til that night..i mean that night, it was the first night i drove the fd in the rain and it wasnt even raining hard that night, it was drizzling..im really leaning towards as the rain being a cause to this even though it doesnt make sense..

maybe if i reset the ecu?? im gonna try what you said, then reset the ecu, hope that works out..

haha nice

but truthfully, its not myself getting a ride back thats the problem, its spending money on a tow truck if god forbid the problems comes back..i mean it costed me 65 bucks for a flatbed just to tow my car 1.5 miles..what more if im on the highway in new york or in kohls? im prob looking at another 300 bucks or so..

well anyway, this morning i reseted the ecu, checked all visible sensors to see if they were connected, checked and double checked all IC couplings, intake couplings, visible vacuum hoses and took it for a 15 minute test drive..

car drove absolutely normal..i really think it was that little rain that was the cause..i have no clue what that little rain did but right now the car drives fine..i am however still skeptical in thinking the problem is gone..i have to make more short trips to make sure..cause going to kohls tonight is a long trip for me and too soon to be traveling after a problem like this occured..

btw, nice 8 man, you're not too far from me either..i know some kids that live in lyndhurst, you're literally liek 10 minutes from me..i might actually move to rutherford too!! but not for another year or so..lol

alright kiddies, here are some pics.

i tried to get as much as i could. the lot in the background was packed!

testing out the zoom. crowd around the bikes

a lil blurry, but chinoo and manny checkin' out the new shoes

our lil corner

shots of the 3rd gens rears

as far as turnout, overall it was bigger than past weeks. the center section of the lot was packed. the lot where all the big v8s usually hang was packed (over flow from the center area). a lot of cars were in-and-out of the lot. not a bad night. we saw ONE rx8... getting pulled over. but the 7s still held their ground.

Hey cool pics. Too bad for the two VWs that wanted to race me and I turned them down on the highway. It's funny how people want to race me when my top is down, and cruising with oversized show wheels. lol
