Exclamation HUGE Mazda Car Show/Bar-B-Q May 14th

.......at Congressional Mazda in Rockville, MD, a few miles north of White Flint Mall, just south of downtown Rockville, and just east of the courthouse (we knew you'd know where that was after all those tickets you guys amass!). There is space for 40 Mazdas at the car show itself. Those interested in attending should RSVP to John Becker at JBRERX7@aol.com.

There will also be a Bar-B-Q courtesy of the dealership, door prizes courtesy of many of the businesses that support the local Mazda Club, a car wash and technical presentations for those who attend the function. Trophies for many classes will be awarded to members of the Mazda Club, but ALL Mazda enthusaists are invited at drop by to socialize, eat, drink and be merry.

We will be bringing out some of our best machinery for this event, so we hope to see you there!

JD

I wish I was sure my car would be ready to go by then. I may still have a ton of work to do that day.

Directions

Hey all... most people probably know where Congressional Mazda is... but just in case you don't...

#1 - Coming from the SOUTH - Take the Montrose Road East exit (4a), but then BEAR LEFT to go onto Tower Oaks Blvd. At the end of the ramp, go Left on Tower Oaks Blvd. Take a Right on Wooton Parkway, and another Right on 355 (Rockville Pike). The dealership is right there on your right.

#2 - Coming from the NORTH - Take the Falls Road exit (5) towards POTOMAC. At the first light, go left on Wooton Parkway. Go Right on 355 (Rockville Pike). The dealership is right there on your right.

Thumbs up First Gen Attendance For Congressional Car Show

Dan.....you gonna make it? You have temporarily vanished into the abyss that is commonly known as the all too time-consuming full time employment gig!

I hear that David Lane will be bringing his GSL-SE beast to the party. For those who do not know of Dave's car, this immaculately-prepared and maintained first-gen Cartech-turbocharged RX7 could very well be one of the best cars of its type on the east coast, if not in the country.

Make sure you guys take the time to drop by and see this 7, along with the One Lap winner this coming Saturday!

Later,

JD

Since it's very close to my house, I'm going to see what the weather is like. If it's nice, I will be there... if it is rainy, I will probably still come by, but not in the 7.

I might stop by for the first hour, on the way to a wedding in Delaware. Not for certain though, and car choice still TBD.
