Hey im Rob from north jersey, Fort Lee area, I currently own an Audi and have been into these cars for a long while, actually , since i was small and when i was 7 i loved the FD, so the time has come where I believe I can afford one.

Im either looking for a good condition Exterior w/ a motor that needs a rebuild for cheap or.... a rebuilt motor (apex seals done, etc.) for a reasonable price...I love to work on my own car so i dont need a modded one. 94+ ym's are ideal right?

Been studying the car for a small amount of time, so i just know the basics. I really dislike the Montego blue... (no beef!)

Before i bought the Audi,if you search my posts, i started up quite a stir on here, lol, comparing the A4 and Fd , most guys on here dont realize that you can make an A4 faster than an S4 so they didnt agree and told me to just get the FD , but the time has come

Im sure you guys get these posts all the time, but any simple comment/advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I been entertaining the idea of selling mine for past couple of months because the car really doesnt move much.

Although i cant see myself sell it cause the time i did use it, i had a blast. Its just not practical enough for me, especially owning a luxury car as a daily driver. You have an audi too and there is a BIG difference when you step out of a luxury car to get into one of these cars.

Just a question, would you buy a partially parted out FD? Cause i know i wont get my price with all the stuff it has now so i might as well sell most of the stuff i can sell. You wanted project FD anyway. Whats your budget?

Btw, my name is rob too . I know a kid from fort lee, with a fast *** grand national. I dont know if you see him, skinny white kid. Thats my boy.

 

Thx Njx, But im aiming more for the $5-10k area . Im also a used car dealer as a 2nd job... I have access to auctions if any of you guys want a car at wholesale price.... But we hardly see FD's.

But yes your right i know the difference between the two and i dont care, im not selling my A4. Rx7 will be my second car, as i can swap dealer plates on and off the cars... No i dont know him but have def. seen his car! (grand national)

Yeah edgewater is just a short highway run distance from me.

I will def be a regular there this spring/summer. The cops there are dicks though. My friend with the supra got pulled over just cause he left at the same time as 3 other cars. I guess he thought we were about to go and race somewhere. He ticketed my friend because of his exhaust which is total BS cause the other cars were domestics and were loud as hell, that guy picked on the import.

Plus there is a guy with a viper who goes to edgewater which i am fond of. I need to go see it since thats gonna be my next car
