It was driving my 85 gsl-se fine...then it started to rubble and putting black smoke...then stalled out. I let it sit for a little bit then started it up, gave it a some gas and now it sounds like ****. when i bought the car...the guy told me it had a idle problem but nothing serious...he meantioned that the car's throttle plate may need to be clean and the 02 sensor is broke. does any one have clue what my problem sounds like and know how or where i can get it fixed. I live in Lynn Ma, anybody around that area.

 

Well, sense he said the O2 sensor was broken and the throttle plate needed cleaning. Why don't you start off by fixing the problems you already know about and then see where you stand.
