Exclamation Help me contact/reach Goopy Performance

I知 currently in the middle of my FD rebuild so on 04/24/2020 I began communicating with Goopy via email. I was seeking their services to refinish my housings and due to their close location (I知 from MA), I decided to go with them so I could try to get my car on the road ASAP.

I presented Goopy with pictures and a full explanation about my 13B. After looking at the pictures, I was told my housings qualified for resurfacing and on 05/01 a shipping address was provided.

Satisfied with our interactions, on 05/04, I shipped out my housings to Goopy via UPS. I was told to include my contact information inside the box. I included my information, phone number, email address and a print out of our email conversations.

Later that day, I emailed Goopy, provided them with the tracking number and told them my package was headed their way. A few days passed by and I did not hear back. Knowing that things and life at the moment is hectic, I gave them some time to respond. The housings were delivered on 05/06.

On 05/12, and today, I emailed Goopy asking for a timeframe and any information regarding my housings. I致e also called them on 05/11, 05/12, 05/15 and 05/19 and earlier today but I received no answer.

On 05/15, someone posted a video on their Instagram page so I reached out through DM and no answer. Like I said, I understand COVID has thrown all of us for a loop but it would be reassuring to get an email back saying they池e either busy or at least answer my question and provide me with a timeframe. In the past few weeks, I've sunk in so much money on my FD and everyone has been great in telling me if anything is on back ordered or not available.

In the end, I知 trying to see if any forum member has direct contact with Goopy and could possibly help me out here. As of right now, I知 not trying to accuse Goopy of any doing anything wrong and I知 giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Again, if anyone knows them or could help me out, I would highly appreciate your help/effort.

I don't have their personal contact info, though I have had past interactions with them. They've done well by me in the past. I'd be a bit easy on them personally, communication is great, but so is getting work done. Hell, I've had my Transmission off getting a rebuild since the fall and comms pretty much dropped once covid went into full swing and shops were forced to close their doors and push employees home.

No, it isn't unreasonable for the OP to be disappointed or concerned. To say that communicating with someone who has reached out on as many platforms as the OP has in this day and age gets in the way of getting work done IS unreasonable.

Oh, I wasn't trying to imply that anything was unreasonable one way or the other. It would definitely stink if they took payment then dropped off the map though!

Same issues here. I feel like a bill collector trying to get info on my housings too. I sent 2 sets. We communicated via phone before I mailed them. He received them and i contacted him again by phone and he confirmed. Its been over 2 weeks and ive called and emailed countless times. Ive tried messenger, phone, email and even the odd window thing on the website. Nada.

The real big issue i had is i made a post on the his fb page. I simply asked if i could get info on my parts. A few hours later it was removed! You can take time to delete a post and not respond.

Im being patient now while my garage is full of parts collecting dust. Really want to get my car on the road again for the summer.

Lightbulb

A quick update, after weeks of waiting and no contact, Goopy finally reached out to me a few days after starting this thread. He apologized for the delay and lack of communication. A few days later, I received my resurfaced housings. I hope they understand that sometimes some customers have deadlines and it's good to know what's going on but I'm satisfied and happy with the work they did.
