Im thinking of getting my car retuned to stop the flames from blowing out of my exhaust which has gotten me 6 tickets. I have been waiting for steve kan but that seems like it is never gonna happen. Im thinking of bringing my car to T & R and letting them tune it. Does anyone have any feedback on these guys? Thanks

I'm not sure about NYC..but the standard around here is that you are legally allowed to pop 1 flame inbetween shifts. As long as its not continuous (think, jet engine).

i'll vouch fo jodeny too, he's really easy to work with, he did my base map for me, very reasonable price too

 

I vouch for what demahfahbun said, they do good work, and quality rebuilds(i speak from personal experience) but their people skills and customer service is very very lacking.

its easier for ppl to recomend a tuner if you tell us what ecu you have in your car......

From what Ive heard hes one of the best fuel injection tuners in the area and he has a very high HP fc (600-700hp) but I cant confirm anything bout the car. WHen i go to work thursday Il get the name of the shop so you can try and check them out.

I find the dudes at t&r to be pretty funny in a good way. They built my motor did a good job and didnt beat me in the head either. They were honest and straight forward with me. I'm suprised so many people have bad experiences with them.

If you knew the numbers tonys putting down in his fd i dont think you'd question letting him tune your car as long as its reasonable.

hes a great tuner (MY Tuner) and is familliar with a few diffrent ecu's for our cars. I'm not sure if he tunes power fc's tho. call and ask him. tell him Roan gave u the #.

 

t&r pulled my motor & put other my motor together and installed it in 5days and they did a good job without beatin me in the head on the price, jd did my porting so all they did was put it together and its been holding up just fine..... between i have enzo's contact info, but he's a very busy person.. btw he's a licensed altronic dealer and that's the ecu he tunes mostly, but iam pretty sure he can tune your powerfc, pm jodeny he's always avalible to tune and give support and he's no rookie at all

I don't know about them shops over there, I been to Tri State Auto.. Romeo's shope and ill just say it is not run professional at all

My money is green like everybody else. I wanted them to finish my 79 car since it wasn't finished in the now defunct sweatshop called jr's rotary performance. Since they are buddies he didn't want to work on my car. Two other people have told me bad stuff about them. I guess I wasn't good enough for them and down with the homies. If you are willing to travel four hours take it to PFS since they are the gurus to beat on power FCs. Get it done right the first time and don't get dicked around.
