Harris (Fierce Alien) was in a serious car accident today
Phew... is all I have to say. It's been a long road but finally he's up and talking.
I don't know if he wants to come on the forum right now because of what just happened, I will say, I spoke
to him an told him I hope this reckless act by these Emt's won't drive away his passion. It really is what unites
us in many ways.
If Harris does choose to, he should be able to communicate with all you guys soon. Since he is still in the hospital
a bunch of friends have pitched in an got him a small laptop so he can talk to you guys about what ever as well
as chat online.
Anyways, He's pulling through good and recovering, He was moved back into ICU though because of his fever.
I still ask that you pray for him as much as you can.
Side note for friends and acquaintances...
I have not said anything till this point because I believe that everyone's mental focus should be on his recovery
(It should always be) and not the punishment of others. However, I feel very strongly about this and feel you
all who know Harris should know. Unfortunately I 100% firmly believe this was no accident what happened to
Harris. This act was either pure negligence or complete abuse of the emt's authority. The one thing that shows
this, is one very simple act "they have not called him or his family to see how they are doing nor to apologize".
That is all I can say for now in respect for the family and what they want to do in regards to the situation.

They all abuse the system.all these emts,traffic authority and cops all rush through traffic almost causing accidents because they don't want to wait in traffic like every one else.I see cops blowing red lights with their sirens on and half a mile down the road you see them at the local deli drinking coffee and doing nothing.

Most of the time i dont even move when i see fire trucks or ambulances coming. I either speed up so i stay in front of them or MAKE them go around me.
Just tonight, i just came back from a family dinner and i was on the highway. Big ambulance truck, sirens, lights. And i was just CRUISING on the right lane. He was like 3 cars back. The 2 cars behind me went out of the way, i just stayed there and SLOWEDDDD down to make my exit on purpose.
Call me an a-hole but i have seen soo many times, like mobeoner said, them taking advantage, using their authority for nothing, when theres not even an emergency.

I havent been in this thread in a while...If any one knows the address of the hospital that Harris is in please PM me with the info. Yes it is true that law enforcement, EMT, fire department use there power in the wrong time...But im just glad that Harris is in one piece
Hey all. I am in the hospital still, and im doing all right considering the circumstances. I am hopefull on making a full recovery. My family and friends believe the same thing as well. I am making good progress on my rehab which is exellent.
As you all have guessed im sure, i am now Rx'less. My car was totalled
. I by all means plan on getting another one all in due time, when i am not exactly sure. I plan on going to local meets when i am all better and able to hang out with all my fellow rotorheads, cant wait.
My current tentative release date to vacate the hospital is June 1st. I am hoping they send me to an accute-rehab. That is so i can get more assistance in my reabilitation. After that i will most likely live with family to finish my recovery. After that i will resume my life and go back to my apartment and start working again. I thankfully have an awesome boss and he is holding my position untill i am able to work again.
To all who have wished me the best, said kind words about me and kept me in their prayers, i send a hardey thank you as it was very kind of you. Rest assured i am alive and getting better.
I will attempt to keep an eye on this thread and my PM's while i am in others care. Once i am all better and back to living on my own i will let you all know through here or by other means if i know who you are and have your phone number.

Harris, glad to hear you are ok. I have been way out of touch out here. Thanks for keeping me in the loop. Sorry to hear about the FD. It was a nice ride, although easily replaceable unlike you. I will be sure to offer up a prayer for your continued recovery.
