ill probably be installing the safc2 this weekend.. fuel pump the next. i need to get my bumpers painted BLACK if anyone knows where i can get this done for cheap clue me in. i have to do it because im leaving soon.. im not trying to run around with a red bumper on the front and rear of a black car..... does anyone have an extra s4 turbo laying around????? mine is giving the customary siren's scream of death.

OK, I'll bring a couple of 12A housings to the event on the 18th. Tell me if you want one with a spcific problem. I have a couple where chrome flaked off, a couple where they lost an apex seal, and a couple where the chrome just wore through. I think they will all clean up with some effort and make reasonable displays.

Newbie here, just checkin' in. I drive a '87 FC3S GXL. 71k on the motor 2+2 option. Pretty stock but clean/garage kept. Lookin' 2 get the Apex-i intake($94). and a new CF-TII hood ($650ish). Anyone know where I can get stuff installed around VAbeach, also, a rebuild. the car was 4200$ and i wasnt tryin 2 bargain b/c i needed a car bad. runs great but if i shift 2 quick b/w 1st & 2nd it grinds @ high rpms, but only for a split second. still engages the gear tho. any ideas of what that is. or what i should do w/ my car. thnx! lemme know where some meets are by email "VA-FC3S@tekken.cc". only had the car for about a week.

Welcome to our list and to RX7 ownership. I added your name to the list of addresses that get emails about the meets. I will also send you one about the one comming up this weekend.
As far as a good place to have stuff done to your car, many of the people here have had good luck with Will Rodriguez at Autodemics (547-9700) for rotary mechanicals. I know some of what you were asking was not rotary specific, but Will is probably someone to get a good working relation with for this sort of stuff.

Attn: Hampton Roads Rotary Club
Rotary Revolution 2005 is right around the corner. As we ready ourselves to begin registering hundreds of rotary vehicles for this year’s event we’d like to take time to help you promote your rotary club through our event.
This year club’s that work with the Rotary Revolution will be giving their member’s a $10 discount off the pre-registration price. As a bonus, clubs that register at least 7 members will receive designated parking areas at the track when they arrive. Finally, as the Rotary Revolution closes each club president will take their two parking signs home with them to use at future club gatherings!
Requirements:
1. Your club must have at least seven members.
2. We must receive a list of names and email addresses to verify when a club member registers online to give them their discount.
3. Club attendees must have rotary vehicles to park in designated areas 4. That’s it!
Hopefully through these efforts your club will gain more participating members, you’ll enjoy a caravan together to the event, and everyone in the club will save $10 off the pre-registration price to boot.
For more information, please contact us by email: MichRX7@rx7revolution.com
We can’t wait to hear from you!
Signs will be approximately 1.5’ wide x 2’ high and look something like these with your club name or logo:

We have the whole event at Indianapolis Raceway Park home of the NHRA Drag Nationals. http://www.irponline.com

You can find out more about the event by clicking the banner in my signature. I have extended the discount to many clubs in the NE/E including the MSCW (up in DC) and we have sponsors that will be coming from both North and South Carolina so there'll be plenty of opportunity to hop into a great caravan.

I don't have turbos, but I hope that is what the problem is. When my car did that, it was an oil control seal in the engine. I hope your luck is better than mine was.

no its the turbo i can hear it hitting the compressor
housing:-) and it smokes less at speed.. but if you idle the smoke is like a smoke generator on an airplane so at boost it smokes less, and idle with no pressure to keep the oil back is umm white out.
