Does anyone know of where to get the Catz lights for the 3rd gen RX7 headlight conversion kit??? See, I ordered the conversion kit for my FD and it does not have any lights in it - go figure.

Las I knew there were a couple out there. You can also use a 2nd gen cooler. If you do a Google search you might find info on using a 2nd gen cooler.
Some of you guys went to AIK last night. I got a message from Chris on my phone mail. Hope things went well. I have heard they are having one of their 2 hour endurance races this Sunday (12/5) at 7:00 PM. I know some of the people on the teams, they are typically very fast drivers. I am pretty sure that one of those races will get your lap times day pretty quick.
It looks like I am working on my car this weekend. I have a laundry list of maintenance items that it needs. Maybe Phooka will actually get his inspected some time soon and we will have another one on the rad with us.

Hey Calvin, Any word on the meeting at the shop with the Renesis apart? I've been told that they have a Peripheral exhaust port, and I want to see one apart in the worst way. Also, I saw a thread here where someone put a Renesis in a SA22C, along with the gauge cluster. Talk about sweet, and it looked like it came with it. Complete even with the engine cover. That'd be cooler than putting a T2 in an FB, in my opinion.

I talked to Carl, and he can't get it arranged this month. With how busy everyone else is this time of year (OK maybe I am the only busy person). Carl says it would probably be best if we planned for the Feb meeting to be where he worked.
FWIW, our cars have the periphial port exhaust, but the Renesis has the side exhaust. There are no holes for intake or exhaust in the rotor housings on the Renesis, all of the ports are in the end plates (irons). I do agree with you that this conversion would be cooler than one of the turbo engines in on. The problem though from my understanding is that there are so many electronic control functions in the ECU that it might not be an easy task to adapt the electronics to our old cars. For example the throttle is fly-by-wire, there is no direct throttle link. So the original ECU uses this as the throttle position sensor and you would need both parts (the pedal and the throttle body. These just make it complicated, but not impossible.
So my suggestion for this month is the Hooters on Battlefied Blvd. We haven't done that in a while. It has a pretty big parking lot and works well for us just hanging out and BS'ing about the cars. I would say the Saturday time is working pretty well. Maybe move it to just a little later, say 6PM or so? Any complaints?

No complaints here. Hooters sounds good. It was fun caravaning with Rich and Randy. FB, FC, and FD riding down the road. And 6pm on a saturday I think would make it a little more easier for people to make, since it's dark by then, and everyone is done with work. Maybe someone can get ahold of Will, and we can drop by Autodemics again.

Cool. Caravaning places is lots of fun. I forgot that there was a bunch of Mazda people from DC that were caravaning to Williamsburg over the weekend. I had intended to tell everyone and see if we wanted to meet up with them... but it slipped my mind.
