eh I've been a little bit slacking in my car forum surfing duties... that and my 7 hasn't started in about a month. the tax man has me down..

I have been away from this forum for a while dealing with life.

Ok, Back to things I am ready to try another Rotary gathering. Randy are you still interested? I will drop you an email. I have a list of everyone that replied that they were interested. I want to suggest April 27th to have some sort of meeting? Not sure of place, but we can come up with something. Let me know I will be here as often as possible between now and then. I will shoot off an email to everyone I have on the list.

 

I think that weekend my streetport/bridge combo is going to be built. Hopefully I can have it in time for a "break-in".

 

Well if you don't have it in, we all come to your place and help you finish it.... :-)

 

I will talk to Lou's auto 588-3100. There is a guy coming from Florida to build a couple of engines. I know he will be building at least two of them including mine. I will ask Lou that if doesn't mind the audience. Besides I think it will promote big business for everybody and probably get a few pointers from the builder since he races in the all over the USA and Puerto Rico.

 

scratch last post, spoke to Lou, he doesn't want too many people while the rebuilding process in going through. Insurances are crooks!!!

On another note - I'm looking for a '82 and earlier rear iron housing, oil filter mount, and some plumbing. Anybody have anything?

I doubt I'll have my engine done and back in by meeting time unfortunately.

Ok, here is the plan so far. We are planning on this weekend, Sunday Apr 27th at about 2PM (afternoon). I think we have the place all lined up, but I want to have it 100% verified before I say where. I will post a link to a map or general directions, hopefully tonite. Tell any rotorheads you know to set the time aside. Format will be very simple and low key. Weather so far looks good for that day.
