Yeah, I think you already got me conned into it. What size is the nut outter end of the half-shaft on an FC S4 NA? I measured the nut at something like 32.26mm. Seemed like a bit of a strange measurement since there is not a 32-1/4 mm socket....

Hey pooka , glad to see you are doing great , although a little sore . Do you still have any of the motor you removed out of the Fc and what were you going to do with it ??? Also I saw you had removed the front suspention off the car , did you sell this or were you using it some where else.

Just wondering

I got the front cover to my motor tapped and the AN fitting has been purchased. All I have to do is stand the motor up on the flywheel, fish around and get that thrust bearing back and place, and slap it back together.

Also, since I had the cover in the yard already, my instructor took me over to a heated parts cleaner bin. We started cleaning with a brush and whatnot. The chemicals in there we around 160 degrees. It cleaned up the spot we were working on pretty well.

Then we brainstormed and opened up the cabinet and put it in the basket inside. Set the timer to 10 mins, and that thing blasted the cover with the 160 degree solvent. The dirt/grease/oil didn't stand a chance. How clean it is.

Anyone have an engine stand with rotary stand adaptor that they aren't using/won't need for a couple weeks?

Hey, if anyone wants to enter the autocross school on April 1st (no it is not an april fools joke) you should go to the ODR SCCA web site (link a few pages back) and register now... I was just told that they only had two spots left. So register now!!!!

FWIW, as of right now, I will not be there at this event, but I know all of the instructors, and they are all very good. You will not be disappointed.
