Yea....really. You'll claim bankruptcy after you get through with us if you foot the beer bill.

Who did I see in Suffolk this afternoon? Dale?

Have a merry Christmas everyone. Going to NY tomorrow.

It most certainly is... i wanted to chuck something at my car today cause i got so damn frustrated... not having seats in made it easier to get under the dash though, so im glad i didnt put them back in yet... im gonna finish pulling it out tomorrow and then ill try and put the new one in. I gave up today and decided to clean the whole car out since it was dirty as heck from the paint shop. Anyone willing to help on the removal and new install is definitely wanted.

The old harness is a POS... its going straight in the trashcan once its out. The person who had it before me had this great idea to splice the old harness and match it up with a new one and now its crap. I need to pull the old one out and put in the new one. Urgh... ill be happy once this car is done. lol I left a message with you though... trying to let you know what was going on with everything. Ill call you again tomorrow.

Made it to my mom's house today around 11 am. It was kinda funny. Booted my laptop up, and come to find out, wireless connection is available. So at this moment I'm surfing on someone else's network. How sweet it is.

Around 2 feet of snow and about 30 degrees. Not too bad. I'm in Watertown, where are you Rich?

I have replaced wiring harnesses in old cars (made in the 60's). The only way I was willing to do it was to completely disassemble the dash, heater, etc. It was a job that took a long time. These cars had maybe 1/4 the complexity of anything new. I have pulled most of the wiring harness out of the FC I am parting out, and it has taken me a couple of evenings after work.

If I were you, I would have also removed the dash to do that job.... I bet you will finally decide that it would have been easier. Getting this harness out, i have mostly removed the dash, so I am going to completely remove it and try to sell he dash too.

guys quick question what tells the coil pack to spark? cause maddies leading coil isnt firing at all.......any ideas how i can test it further ? or what i need to replace? is the igniter to blame?

oh BTW the floats on her carb need to be adjusted a little more the lift was off 5/8 but the drop was fine on both of them.2''for the drop i see out the side classes and there is a air gap like what calvin had talked to me about how it should look like . now the carb is fine.

The ignitor tells it when to fire.
