My to-do list:

Buy BOV, oil pan, front cover, mod tranny, oil cooler, oil cooler lines, and put in car.....

I guess I should take the 12A out first though. *Sigh* This is gonna take too long.

Bryan, Dwayne, Rich, and you other first gen guys. I am trying to get a few more people to sign up for this group buy of a first gen big brake kit:

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=461164

If we can get a few more people we can get the price down to $105/set. I have no interest in this other than wanting to save myself some money as a customer. It gives you a bolt pattern of wheels that is easier to get rims for and (especially for you people putting TII's in your FB) a choice of inexpensive brake upgrades (any second gen). They need about 7 more people to sign up.

I could probably get out there, but I am not sure work is going to permit it. But I have everything together at this point except one tire that needs to be mounted on the rim. I went to AIK the other night and I am just way out of pratice. I really need a day at the track still. It would be good therapy for me. What time do they open the gates?

turbo2SE, I think the next meet is going to end up being at Awful Arthurs as long as Dan is OK with it. I need to give him a call to make sure.

We meet every third Saturday:

Feel free to invite any other rotary nuts. We sometimes have a few 8's come to our meets and we attend the local 8 club meets.

'm not sure what time the gates Open , but I usually try to get there around 7 pm and there have usually been 20 + cars already in the infield . Did some one say "Awful Athurs "??? My only question is WHEN/WHAT LOCATION/WHAT TIME " Im sure this is not the one in Nags Head .

Actually I may return it because it is always out of focus. It should do better. This is one that came from the same kind of phone, someone I know took. Mine should be this good at least....

nope, 4x114.3 (4.5")

I think I could get you hooked up with the stuff to convert your car if you are interested.

Anyone ever set up a RX7 rear. I have one I am going to disassemble and go through everything. I'd like to use the diff, but my gears and new bearings. I have set up plenty of good old 9" rears, and a few 8.8's, but I have never done one of these. Anything special beyond typical rearend setup?

Has torn his completely down , and rebuilt it . He will be at Wacky tonight . Im sure he could do it ., if he could simply find some free time . He is planning on starting up a new local shop in the near future specializing on Rotaries , but he will work on just about anything .

Well the deal is got a complete torsen. It is the complete thing, but the bearings don't feel right. It is way too hard to turn the gears. It also has the wrong gear on it.
So I ahve to go through it and put my gear in it.

Hey all, I promise I will attend a meet one day. Lately, I have been overwhelmed. It looks like I am wrenching almost everyday and I still see no progress. I bought a second 79 RX-7 with 65,000 miles on it and 20,000 miles on a old reman. Everything works in it, But when I took it for inspection, they failed me for an exhaust leak. It is not worth fixing the old thermal reactor crap. I need a set of headers badly!!!!

Anybody with a set of 12a Racing Beat Headers????
