Wheels are great, tires are old and have some dry-rot. Wheels are very nice, just looking to go a little bigger on them. Maybe 17x7 something in a gunmetal. Will have to look at some option I have in the shop.

Will sign up. It has been about 18 years since I last owned an rx7. Had a few miata's also. Have been building and racing mustangs for last 10+ years. Car should be good to go for the meet. Want to make a few changes. Also looking for alot of parts for 2nd gen stuff, so might be a good idea for me to show and meet some of the guys.

So there I was on a long stretch of freshly paved winding road with jose's old girl and I found the need to see just how far I could carry the rear of the car out from the center. Next thing I know I am sideways going for a nice long slide then straight again and then sideways to the other side. haha bet you thought this story was going to end much different huh.
Jose just finished off what was left of the rear tires. Motor held strong, trans shifted and downshifted like a dream. Taking 3d to redline and dropping to second as I took the turns. Had a blast.
Just picked up the dual msd boxes that will be going into this car this week. And a fresh pair of enkei rs6 16 x 8 rear and 16x7 front rims. All I could stuff under the lowered supspension. Have some old pony wheels with slicks on them. Car may go to get timed at englishtown this week weather permitting.

John not sure yet car is dead in my garage right now. Waiting on parts. Took her out the other night and her clutch went to the floor. Starting with the cheap fixes first slave cyl. then with work my way to bearing and fork. If car is running I will be there. Please pm me exact info on this if you get a chance. I should have her going by then if work schedule permits time to get this fixed.

ok back up and running. not really impressed with this hydo clutch but what the hell. Can't have everything in life. Tommorow I will tackle the msd 6 install. btw it was the slave. The slave was falling off bolts were stripped had to re-thread the holes in the trans. Not really thrilled about no warning on that. But what can you do.
John are you running the msd setup in yours. If so how do you like it?

Baffled.
Ok spent yesterday wiring the msd 3 coil setup just to find the spark was not sufficiant. Then was forced to undo this mod. I have heard this works great but spark was so low it was like driving my mothers car. Ok so I am sure I had this wired correctly and have no clue why the spark was so low. Although I am not convinced by any means that this piggy-back coil config is the most efficient, I am thinking about a more advanced setup for this application. Looking at some late model parts now to see what I can find. Anyone have any ideas?

I am looking at a few products right now, would like to do something that has never been done. Want to try to make it stand out from the rest. I took the intake off last night to do some porting and polishing. got templates from racingbeat. Will hit the ignition again on tues or wed once I overnight some parts today. Just have to draw up a plan on what I would like to try.
