NY Got a Problem, Need rebuilder

I bought a "Rebuilt" engine. It has the wrong end housings, they are for a 2nd gen. Rotor and Intermediate Housings are 3rd gen I believe. I have my old engine and this one, I am looking for a HONEST builder that can take 2 and make me one good one with possible porting. I like to use as much as possible from the rebuild engine if it has indeed been rebuilt. And any parts left over that are ussble the builder can keep. Im all ready out 2 grand for this engine and I am now tight for money but I want it done right. I also have a set of twins the builder can have but i am sure they need rebuilding... It will be a twin turbo but I am going single next year... Im in a bind .. the car has frount mount full exhaust power FC, avcr, and some reliablity mods... Any help or info would be great.

I am located in Albany, NY

Check the NE section and look for the rotary shop thread. That will give you an idea on what shops are near by.

We all know where I stand. I have heard of a shop in Rochester or something but know nothing about them but if I remember correctly I think the work was done to a V8 FD I don't remember. Either way, I think you should take it to IRP. They are known on the forums and have a great reputation.

If you want it done right the first time I highly recommend IRP in Metuchen, NJ. Ihor is honest and does top notch work!
