(some of you may remember, from several years ago, how crazy it got
before the cops shut it down)

Anyways. he say that its gotten to like how " V st" in DC, and
New Carrollton Metro " METRO" was back in the day.
So if what he say is true.. It must be crazy wild.

Any Glenburnie locals in the area can verify this tid bit of info??

He's full of **** unless you mean the teenagers sneaking out after curfew running the Watermelon 500 from red light to red light. The only 'real' racing action you're going to find is after 2-3 am and most of the guys involved hang out at Dunkin Donuts. It's the ONLY place in Glen Burnie that the cops won't kick people out of, and that's because the owners told them to get lost for harassing their customers.

 

Yup yup, I told you that a while ago Sean. Up here there are some fast as **** cars and some 'real' races. But it's all late night and you usually need to know someone to get into the area they sometimes race at. I haven't cruised over there in forever since my boy Brian fled for the Military, now I have no connections :\

 

I know who a lot of the fastest guys are. One of them offered me 15 cars and the kick for a $20 race one night when we were all bored. I told him there was no way I was gonna be the guy who needed 15 cars and probably still lost. The sad thing is, he's got an 8 second car and I probably would have need more like 40 cars

 

Which 8 second car, I think I've only seen two of them in those parts...

He said he blew his motor racing up in Glenburnie.

Something about missing 4th gear when he sprayed his 150shot of N02
in 3rd..

SO I 2nd guessed him and asked him again..
" are you sure GLenburnie is happening "
He turned to his buddy and was " dude, place is packed"

Since I don't visit my inlaws much anymore, I don't get up there much
on the weekends..

Joey since you are near by.. STOP by one night.. and give out some

It's packed alright - with a bunch of 16 seconds Hondas and assclowns pimpin their hydraulics. There are about 50 'fast' cars around Glen Burnie, and 500 wanna-be's. I'm not saying he couldn't have blown his motor up while racing, I'm just saying that if you by the above mentioned parking lot, you're not going to see the fast cars. They normally aren't out until 2-3 AM, most of them come out on trailers, and they don't hang around drawing unwanted attention like the 'ricers' do.

As for my car, nobody quite knows what to make of it. Most people around here know it isn't quite finished yet, but even so, most think it's either a)dog *** slow because it's not a built motor, or b)way too fast for them because it's not a stock rotary. The truth lies somewhere in between
