Angry Feeling very stupid....need a little help...

Just got my FD back from the shop yeaterday. I was all silly happy because it hasn't been running in over 4 years. Drove it home an hour and a half from the shop and all was perfect!!! Drove it all day!!

Well....this morning I get in it to show off at work ... turn the key ... and NOTHING!!!

Doesn't start!

All the power comes on... radio, lights, sensors, ... But when I turn the key to start it nothing happens. Lights don't dim... No clicking... just nothing...

Since I haven't driven it in years, I was wondering if there was something stupid that I missed...

Any Ideas??? Even VERY simplistic ones....

I would really not like to have to get it towed an hour and a half away back to the shop I just drove it home from!!!

Thanks....

alternator only affets the car when its running
it sounds more like a fuse or starter relay

try to put the key in the driver's side door...lock and un lock it a few times... mine does the same thing from time to time...the stock alarm is disabled by unlocking the driver's side door and sometimes sticks...

"...the stock alarm ..."

That was my first instinct.

When I get home from work I'll be trying this again. The key is kind of sucky...and the driver's side lock is also kinda sucky...

What's the easiest way to completely disable the alarm???

If it is the stock alarm.... then it "should" start if the hood is open, correct???
