Feeler for work...

Hi all.

I just got off the phone with my girlfriend, and she just finished an interview for a job in Maine. I think the towns name is Turk, but I am not really sure. The job is for 1 year.

Anyhow, I am going with her, and I need to take a leave from my regular work. I need money, and would love to get a new experience, so I would like to hear your thoughts about any places that might be good.

I am currently a tech trainer for the Hyundai distributor here in Norway. I also run warranty systems for them, troubleshoot difficult cars and assist dealers in troubleshooting. I have worked with Hyndai fro 10 years now.

I am also a very passionate Mazda enthusiast, and a rally/race nut. I love rotaries, and feel that a raceteam, small shop who is into rotary would be a nice thing. I have extensive knowledge about WRC rallycars, and Mazdas own rallycars (323 Turbo - all models).

I am outspoken, and speak good english (-I think). I could probably get credentials from Mariah motorsports and/or Wayne Graham as I worked with them a little bit.

This is just a feeler for what's out there. I would like to know all there is to know about Maine for a rotary/mazda-Nut like myself. Please feel free to dump all your thoughts into this tread.

How cold does Maine get? I am used to Norway, but it would be nice to know more about the climate in Maine. What is cool about Maine? What "stinks"?

Please post your thoughts.

Thanks in advance

Talking Busy part of the US?

Hi all.

Is there really no rotary nuts in Maine =)

Please post if you have anything remotely interesting to say. Hell, why not get on the flametrower? he-he

Any info appreciated.

Is there any higher automotive education in Maine? I might just study for a year.

Have a nice day
