As you can see the Dyno Meet was more than we expected. Lets put it this way it was retarded. So many people came, it was a mad house. We had so many old school rotaries representing. There were rotaries from VMRC and non club members. I thought since some of our members couldnt come (my REPU was down also). I really thought we would be out numbered, but the rotaries were their in full force!!!!!!!!

The Blue Rx7 Drag car made 762 HP 433 Torque.

I'll be working on the videos and should have something up before the end of the week.

Thanks to all who attended and made a long journey to the meet. It was a pleasure meeting new people and I hope we can meet again.

Id like to VMRA and the Old School Toyota Club and of course my club, Elm City Imports for making this event the major success it turned out to be. This is the beginning of a great friendship among our different car clubs. We also got interviewed for the Registro so ill get copies for all the guys out of town. I will be posting some of the pics i have tommorrow on myspace.com/elmcityimports. Check them out. Thank you Chiqui and Ken for cooking. Also you can count on us for your event on April 27th at Seaside in Bridgeport to attend. To show that the Old School Community is united in CT. Redd -Elm City Imports.

Thanks Redd, you had a major roll in this, police, barricading the street, etc…It was a great group effort on everyone’s part and it shows people are interested in coming to these types of events. We were honored to contribute and participate in this event.

By the way I like to cook; maybe next time I can do some empanadas, hey maybe I can do it for our meet in April, hmmm.

Hey redd, chiqui still has a FREE sticker and shirt for you.
You know, just in case.

Great pictures guys. I wish I could have spent more time, and networked a bit more,as I want to get an old RX-2/3/4 to replace my REPU. I spoke for a while with Pito who owned the RX-3SP,and he has plenty of other cool old school cars. I wanted to ask him if I could sit inside the SP,but I figured it was best to just not ask. It was the first time I ever saw an SP in person, and even the RX-3's,wagons and such were a first for me to see in person. I love my truck, but I would like a vehicle I can take my family in,so keep your eyes peeled for someone who may want to trade a old school coupe, sedan, wagon for my REPU.

Keep the pics coming.

P.S. I want a VRMC sticker, and shirt in the future if I could, please. I had next to no money yesterday, and I had no idea they would be available. If I had I would have got some cash before my trip. Also thanks to whoever it was that gave me directions out of the event to the highway. They work great, and I was home in under three hours with a stop for food, and gas.

That sure was a great start! I did not know the numbers that we had at the meet, man thats incredible. Anything can happen when you have people that are commited and alot of people showed us that commitment, even the fans of old school cars.

I appreciate you stopping in and posting and I appreciate everyone joining in and making this happen.

Thanks again
