Well I got a chance to get out in the RX-7 today. I fired it up yesterday, and ran it for about 10mins around my neighborhood. Today I took my 1 year old son out for a trip to the cape in it to get my pay check, and have a little fun. I was so nice driving a car that is fun to drive for a change. I know it isn't a race car,but it sure felt like one compared to my work van, personal van,and my wifes minivan. I was pretty certain that after the heavy rains we had early in the week washed away any salt that may have been left behind, and with the weather we are having this weekend that should take care of the rest.

I hope to make it down to Dyno day,but I can't make any promises. Would it be okay if I brought my 5,and 1 year old sons with me,or is this no kid safe?

I do not think is a good idea. Have your kids going to this event. This not going to be kid safe.

It depends on your point of view. There will be police presence, but I never been to a dyno day before, especially a dyno day with a considerable amount of people.

Here are some things to think about. Alot of people are going to be walking around looking at cars (people that we don't know). The garage will have cars driving in and out of the bay. Depending on the cars, some will have very loud exhaust noise. I can't say for sure if its really kid safe, but if you go I think you will have to keep your kids very, very close to you at all times for safety reasons.

Hey rotaryredd, Where is this SR20 club located? Do they have a website? I ask because my friend has a 91 Nissan 240SX coupe with a SR20 swap, and he wants to sell it. I am helping hime sell it,and if you have any contact with SR20 guys it would help.

Thanks

I know this event starts at noon, but what time should we be getting there? I am not running on the rollers, but I was thinking about coming anyway. Should I be there earlier than noon, maybe 10am,or is that too early?

Thanks,
