I have been going to Drexel for the past year now and I have yet to meet any fellow rotorheads. I came up here from South Florida and the rotary crowd was huge down there, we had meets all the time. Sadly I left my FD at home in Florida because I live in the city now (for obvious reasons). I see a black FB parked around 35th and Powelton all the time and I see FC's parked around campus all the time. Anyone here go to Drexel or live in the Philly area? I love it up here, but the one thing I really miss is the rotary community.

In the entire time I have been here I have only seen one FD, and that was about 2 weeks ago. It was black, I saw it driving west on Chestnut going past the Fresh Grocer and The Bridge Movie theatre... could that have been you?

How is it having an FD in center city? do you have a garage somewhere?

Im in south philly.
If you see a gold fc with phone dials in the front and black steel rims in the back driving around drexel, thats me.
I usually drive around there to get to Upper Darby, or going through southwest philly.

I drive past your campus almost every day - but I'm in the silver Malibu (company car)
That's how I get out of West Philly alive when driving west on Chestnut! Seriously - I wouldn't take my FD down there because of the road conditions and the other cars flying around. It's just not a fun city car. I really believe that at this point the majority (not all) of FD owners have other daily drivers.
I am only a couple of miles outside of the actual city and I see them around.
I have been on this forum for 2 years and have owned the FD for as long. I have NEVER met up with one other owner. Kinda wish I have...

I live in Wynnefield Heights (next to Bala Cynwyd). I have a '90 'Vert. It is my daily driver, as it is a beater (needs paint work and body work). My toy is a modded WRX. I am also from South Florida (Hollywood), and helped start the now defunct RX-7 Club of Florida in the '90s. I still keep both my cars registered in FL (avoiding the inspections in PA - as they are bullsh!t).

Hey, how can I get in to downtown philly without using the surekill? I've been driving the surekill for over a year now and I need a better route.

I'm bumping this.

I'm at Drexel now, living in mantua / powelton village. My car has been dead for a while and is back home, but I want to meet some rotorheads in the area and maybe get myself in the mood to fix my car.

edit: Oh yeah, Who owns that FD that I see sitting in the drexel parking garage? It's covered in dirt and I don't think it has moved since I've been here lol.
