Sweet ride, there’s a few of us around, but NE rotary owners hibernate like woodland creatures in the winter

Good move leaving the FD behind. It's real cold in Philly, plus parking @ Drexel SUCKS. Street parking throughout the city. NOT fun. Good school though ($$$ too)

My girlfriend goes to the Art Institute of Philly so i am up there all the time. Won't have my FD up there for the winter but I am in the area. I agree with Ramy, good call leaving the FD, I would never take mine into that city, my girlfriend lives outside the city by the place where Rocky ran up the stairs in the movie. Parking is a little better there. Good luck man.

Sadly, I'm not. Last time we had a meet was 2 summers ago (it was a pretty big meet, though, maybe 50 cars). There's a great rotary shop around here (JPR imports) where people meet up for tuning and stuff like that, but that's about it.

When you get up here, you can hopefully get us off our asses and set up a meet .

I was just browsing through some of my older posts to see what type of things I was posting back in the day and I came across this thread...

Well its been 5 long years and I am finally graduating! I will be reunited with my FD in a few short weeks. I have secured a job in the area, so the FD will be moving up here with me permanently Living outside of the city with a garage.

The time I have spent in Philly has been Rotary-less for the most part. I did end up meeting one 2nd gen owner who also goes to Drexel, and I converted my cousin to the ways of the rotary and he bought a 2nd gen TII. I also recently found out one of my fellow class mates has a pristine chaste white FD, I have yet to see it though. Thankfully, this past year I have been proactive and successful in seeking out the rotary community from under their rocks and have made a few good friends along the way.

So 5 years later I will ask the question again... Any one here go to Drexel?

I'm trying to get all the work done by graduation so I can bring it down to Drexel. It's funny, I remember reading this thread 5 years ago but I wasn't at Drexel yet

I'm trying and a photoshoot would be awesome John!

Hey Tom, yea it is J.L.. The FD is down at the moment replacing the EGR valve which is ending up being replacing the vacuum hoses and pre-cat. The more I drive it the more I love it...until something breaks. How's your FD doing, did you ever get that huge turbo put on? Also, we should start up the Philly RX-7 meets again soon before September, lol.
