Does anybody know or seen this car(1993 RX7)?

Hi guys,

I'm in a market for an FD and I found this 1993 RX7 at a local used car dealer.
The dealer doesn't really know anything about it and there is no info on it.
It is being sold AS-IS. I know that FD owner's are a tight community and somebody must know something.

Does anybody the previous owner of this car? Any hp/tq info? Any info at all?

Can anybody give estimate number of hp/tq from looking at the engine bay?

Thanks for your help!

what's the asking price? I wouldn't pay more than $10k for it. That intake is sucking up massloads of hot air, the rear passanger qp is dented pretty bad, the attempted 99specish rails are ungodly...

the rims are nice, it has an FMIC and it looks like it has cross drilled rotors, so maybe 11k for an R1..

Hmm, he has intakes, still on twins (i'd say stock twins), catback and FMIC. With proper ECU that FD should be from 260-300rwhp IMHO. Hard to say anything more...

If it's in Virginia, I know whose car it is. A guy named Nick. I believe it is non-sequential also (so it is probably making more than 300rwhp)and the dent is probably from drifting. Seriously. I remember seeing that front bumper on the car at my engine builders house. He was the one who actually cut the opening out bigger on the bumper. I'll do some checking around and let you know for sure. I believe my engine builder rebuilt that motor as well.

The numbers on the truck indicate a VA business... I wonder if they impounded the car or somethikng for egregiously reckless driving...

Is the drivers door shut properly? The gap from the rear 3/4 seems rather large if the doors shut....?

That's a VB2 auction car. Online bidding will drive that car sky high.

It is a guy named Nick's old car. My engine builder did some work on it. It is definately running non-sequential turbos, and all the other mods that you can see, full 3" exhaust, ACT clutch and a lightweight flywheel, Power FC tuned for 14psi. Estimated 350-360rwhp @ 14psi. It has been painted within the last year or so. Of course now it needs it again because of that dent. Hope that helps.

I was thinking about the situation of the car (impounded), and the dent on the rear quarter panel...

It looks to me like that car had a pit maneuver put on it by a cop car.

On a serious note- when it comes time to fix the dent you'll never be able to match that paint.

Yeah, I've been thinking about it. Seems like contacting the previous owner is the option.....
