So, I tore into my car yesterday for the first time in over a year. I took the nose and bumper off, removed all the A/C equipment from under the hood and took the radiator and air pump off. We'll see if I can keep up this momentum and pull the engine to do that work that it needs, then strip the interior and all wiring harnesses and swap in the TII drivetrain. After that it'll be wiring it up then getting it tuned.

It felt good, but I have so much other stuff going on who knows...

yeah, I spend a good while on Saturday cleaning stuff in the parts washer... Haven't decided yet if I want to clean them more or not.... some of the cast iron is annoyingly hard to clean.

a bunch of engine goodies came in the mail the other day from mazdaspeed and pineapple racing but I still have no rotors... hopefully they'll ship out soon (the guy I was buying the rotors from went out of town...)

Yeah it is! Been a while since I stepped out without feeling as if I just went through a hot waterfall, damn humidity.

That got me out to do some vacuuming finally. Too much gunk from work boots.

Yeah, I don't know who that is but it might be the same one I see from time to time. The most recent time that I saw it was last fall on GW parkway, looked very well taken care of.

Yeah, Wes gave me a much appreciated heads up

The tornado was pretty far to the south of me, almost closer to Damascus.

There is a 2 day event this weekend at summit and then we take a long summer break until September.

If you want to race I'd sign up sooner rather than later, it's been filling up recently (there is currently only 7 spots left.)

Anyone know of a good lawyer in the area? My car was seized and was arrested for VIN swapping and insurance fraud.

Is there a difference between Saturday only and Sunday only? Either way, it looks like I may end up waiting until September.

saturday is twice as much racing, but sunday you get a free lunch

both of them don't open until Tuesday. the only thing that's open now is the full 2 day event.

you can still come down and hang out and watch if you want.

DUDE that sucks. I have a friend that works at a law firm, although they do mostly traffic law etc. in Fairfax County. I can ask if they know of anyone though.
