Duc - called Dirt Farm Brewing, 540-554-2337. Mike says one lane road and its sides are well maintained. Not very very, just somewhat steep. Drives his Civic up it every day. We do need to park in their gravel lot though. Bill
I'm glad they picked up the phone for you Bill and we got a decent answer.
Jack - are you coming out? Didn't see your name on the official list. The "jail" statement needs investigation but I'm guessing it's not that dramatic.

Jack spent a good chunk of time in the Navy, no need for him to "come out".
Not mike, but a different person. I need to find out if he found another ride or most likely I'll go to the cars and coffee and then just leave to richmond for the show since it is almost a 3 hr drive from this new spot.
Sorry I missed everyone today. I had it in my head that the cruise was NEXT weekend. I had family visiting from out of state so I couldn't get away. Hope everything went well.
Levi and Matt - you missed a great time. I really enjoyed that drive from 50 up through Mt Weather to the Brewery. Another week or two though and I can see a bit more detritus on the road mucking things up so great timing this week, and not NEXT week.
The brewery was fantastic and the view as breathtaking as Shenandoah. The ride up the very very steep incline wasn't well-maintained at all but we survived. And Bill made sure to give Mike (who misinformed us) the business. It was actually good therapy for me as I'm always hesitant about driving the FD to unknown situations. Now I know it, and I, can handle boulders, massive potholes and a very steep incline.
You think Mike's wing is impressive. You should hear Noel's jet turbine of an exhaust. I might have a clip of it I'll sort out soon.
Great trip guys, one for the record books. Matt: the course was great, Jack: drive a 7 next time Duc: Props for good choice of Brewery, Brian: Dude, bro points for seizing the opportunity and coming out, Mike: Always great to see you out, I've gotta head to FedEx more (or at least once), Bill: All told, best wing-man ever, Noel: I may just have to schedule more of these because of you, we've got to hang out more. Derek: you owe us some sweet antique Japanese car pics. Levi: I can't even
Mike - you had the Superlite on wing ELEVATION - so no envy, after all, you 'got it up' better than he did ! !
Derek, Noel, Mike, Jack, Branda, Brian, Duc and Rocky - thanks for the great day !
Rocky - thanks for being the chairman AGAIN and for the kind words. P.S. Mike will be at FedEx this Saturday 9-12 and Sunday 12-4 - I'll be there as a spectator on one or both days myself. P.P.S. so nice to have found a new physical therapist for my back; just don't quite know how to break it to my wife ! ! Ask Jack or Duc how it went at the Winery.
