VMRC at the OSTC car show event

Some people thought that crickets were going to sing at the Dyno Meet in New Haven, CT., but when the news came in, pictures, and videos were posted people REGRETTED NOT GOING. We had a huge showing of Rotary cars.

Do not regret missing the OSTC event. Do not let anyone tell you “I told you so.” This event is going to be big. People from the Tri-State area are going to come and participate. Vintage cars straight from the 70s 80’s will be there. Toyota, Mazda, Datsuns, etc…Do not miss this showcase of old cars all in one event. Go ahead go to other car shows and have fun looking at new cars that you see everyday on the street. You will not find any show, meet, hangout, etc… in CT representing so many old school cars.

Let the old school Rotaries unite and represent R-100, Rx2, Rx3, Rx4, Rx5, REPU, Rx7 SA, FB, FC, and FD. Yes, even the FC and FD are no longer present during daily commutes. So come represent and enjoy something that is rare in these parts.

Officially, the Vintage Mazda Rotary Club will be there in full force and expect more of us now that we have our website up and running (www.vintagemazda.com) all you need to do is register and check us out.

Represent if your dare, I need a head count to let them know how much SPACE we need.

Thanks for stopping in and posting.

I also thanks you for the compliment on the website. I worked hard (and still working hard on it) on the site. I wanted to give everyone a different feel. I hope everyone else likes it. Sometimes people don't like something different. By the way our events section is updated with alll the Dyno Day 2008 pictures. Well the pictures that I took.

Where are the peeps at? Not even VMRC members stepping up and adding themselves to the list, sheesh

The picture above is from the OSTC flier. It shows the categories that they have for Mazdas. There are also other categories like best interior and a few others that is for all old school cars.

 

I hope to join you guys for this meet... I be honest, I feel more at home with the VMRC guys than the other rotary meetings I've been to... I'm not into the whole car club theme, but I will come out and show support for Ken, Chiqui & the rest of the VMRC

Here are the prices...$10 to get in and $5 for every category you want to enter.

 

Is that $10 for entry to the park or just for the show? Remember that people from out of state have to pay to get into the park .So that's $10 for the park and $10 for the show.Is that correct or not?

 

free admission for both participants & spectators to the event ,and to get in the park is free .it is 10 to enter your car in the show and $5 for every category you want to enter
