The hot rod Cruisin show is going on May 17th through the 20th In ocean city.
The guys at Eld have a booth and I got a hotel for the 18th to 20th.Anyone want to meet up and grab some beers!??

I go every year, this is the first year i will have my fd. Me and my friend will both be prowling the streets wastegating muscle cars

Well I just turned 21 so I'll prowl for a bit and then walk around and get ripped definitly sounds like a blast though!

 

Humph, I don't drink but I LOVE me a cruise and meet. I guess I may have to drive my FC before the 4.875 goes in afterall. Hopefully I can get it done before then cuz I'd really like to have that before I put it back on the road this year.

How many days do you guys plan on being around or is this gonna be a one day affair (fine with me either way)?

We'll be there. We rent a house on 139th every year. Roy, make sure you have my number, we'll definitely hook up and grab a few. I'll have the Vette and the wife will have her Mustang. Plus my buddy Steve should have his Camaro that's always good for drawing attention.

Neither of my RX7's would have been allowed to compete anyway. I'm thinking of doing a GN motor for the next one, at least a 6 cylinder can fit in the rules somewhere last time I checked

 

I will be taking my FD there, but only if I get a few rx-7's to go in a caravan with me!!! If not I will just ride with some of my friends over there...either way should be fun!!!

Man I wish I would have been in town...you guys could have just crashed at my place for free as well!

 

I use to like going to this event...but the cops are everywhere down there. Its almost a 100% chance of getting a ticket for something there.Not to mention the speed traps on the way. I dont care how you drive they are ******** there on that weekend. Not to mention they hire extras for that weekend too. I got a ticket for spinning tires in my EVO last year. Now really how long can you spin all 4 tires to 30mph....lol they are clowns. Cop didnt even see me..he heard and the judge still took his side.. Now Im 31 just think if your younger how they are going to be..... See you there.. Im staying in Delaware though.

 

I dont think its near as bad. I go to alot of OC stuff. Ive been to almost every weekend down there, and i have to say ive never been harassed by the cops. As long as you dont do anything stupid, and just cruise, they really dont do anything. Normally 40th+ is safe for pulls.

 

And wear your seat belt, and don't drink and drive. They've got checkpoints EVERYWHERE with cops just standing (no cop car) on the side of the road looking for you not wearing a seat belt.

 

Well we always have our seatbelts on, and the drinking and driving thing doesnt effect me
