Christmas came early in the driveway

Got a 89 TurboII
I was told the guy that had the car got it from a one owner and he blew the motor,he told me he put a jdm motor in it after that??? and he left it at a mechanic friend of his for 18 months. The guy could not figure out how to wire it something about the harness was wrong or bad.I have not had time to check it out yet myself.Hopefully its not a big problem and I can get her on the road this summer the motor from what he said was good. Its in good shape other than it being filthy from sitting for so long.

If you can't, I can. I know the stock harness like the back of my hand, and have done plenty of swaps.

How's the v8 coming along?

Ls6? Thats an older motor, the gxl is getting a ls2 better power ,and more torque
than the ls6.The tII is staying the way it is.

Help guys
The jspec motor came in today and I was checking it out and it has a oil filter pedestal on it at least thats what it looks like.2 holes in the side one looks like it was used for something the other is buttoned up.w.t.f?? Its my guess I could use it to run an oil pressure guage. Its a stock turbo so I dont see why they would run a line to the turbo. If anyone here has any suggestions let me know or at least tell me why they would add this.

If it's a plate on top of the stock pedestal (or in place) chances are it's for oil temp/pressure. Mazdatrix makes a plate like that, so does(did) Speed machine
