Car is at PF Supercars

The car is a PF Supercars and will be there for the remainder of the project until completion. If you are up there by chance, do me a favor and say hello to it, I miss it.

You thought wrong. Supra's, IS300's,Viper's,350Z's,Porche's,Lotus's and even a TR7 have all been worked on there. I don't know what Ray is limited too but I don't think much. He is most definitely in the "speed business" more than the rx7 business.

BTW I seen your turbo there the other day. The big one in your avatar with the ceramic coat. Very nice. I bet that cost a few pennies.

You guys got it good, if I was located near the shop, I would be there once a day to visit it.

It is a GT47. I was actually going to go with the GT42R at one point then decided to go with the 47. Both are popular with the Supra guys as well.

Sure, they are installing the following:
GT47 Turbo Kit (4.5inch downpipe and exhaust piping/ 60mm HKS gate/ HKS racing bov/ T6 Virtual Works manifold/ custom turbo side intercooler pipes)
Fuel System Upgrade (1000cc dual in tank fuel pumps/ top feed rail/ fpr)
RPS Carbon/ Carbon Clutch
HKS DLI

I have no doubt in my mind that the install will go smooth and perfect due to Ray’s amazing knowledge and skill. My lose of confidence and whats making me nervous is whether or not my Power FC will be able to handle these upgrades. All the Supra guys who are using this large turbo and fuel system go with AEM standalones. I am one of only 3 Supra’s in North America who is using the Power FC. After Ray tuned it the last time for when the car was on the stock twins and boltons (BPU), it ran great. I really do not wish to go AEM as I am happy with my Power FC but we will see if we can get this thing to spool where I would like it and see what kind of power we can make.

You got it wrong. Both Josh and myself live south of Washington DC in Southern Maryland. I just happened to be up there last week getting my engine.

Yeah I am a little over an hour drive away. I feel like I am in a different dimension when I get to Frederick MD. So quite and peaceful, unlike the the northern VA and DC metro area.

My cousin showed me not too long ago a RX7 FD with a GT47. Are you aware of that one? I am sure there are a couple, no?

Ray is the man, that's why I trusted him for the project.

You know I have to at least try

Whats going on Ramy, hows the car coming along? Last time we talked you were sending it to Texas for some work I believe. The shop you referred Mike to did a great job on his repaint. Should really look nice once we get the lights on.

Yep, still trying to work out some kinks. It's a real slow process unfortunately. But I'm confident it'll be worthwhile in the end...

I'm really glad to hear that That's how we do for our pees, right? Re: the lights, man I'm so sorry, I keep on getting caught up w/ the crazy list of things I gotta do. I'm gonna see if we can meet up today in the evening or something cuz I've had all the parts for over a week now!
