i live in fairfax virginia and i REALLY need to borrow someones stock exhaust just to pass emissions this is my car to do everything, im broke, and im 17 HELPP.

 

i have raing beat turbo back and i wont pass here will alcohol let me pass the smog?

 

what do you have done to your car??? i just failed emissions here in fairfax even with the stock ECU and the stock cat. Have you tried to do emissions as is yet?

 

nah i havent my car is running pretty rich due to a LIM gasket leak after that i was gpomg to try.. y did you fail emissions??

 

im about to take it to rp performance unless someone wants to help i can get it down to the turbo but i can't figure out how to get it off to the LIM

 

Yea, i failed emissions last friday! it sucks. I even went through the trouble of putting the stock cat on and the stock computer but oh well. rp performance is an ok place. One of my friends with an N/A 90 Rx-7 took his car there and they left all the bolts off of his sway bar and when i took my 94 up there they kinda messed up my hks twin power and they couldn't figure out how to put on a simple intake for me. They are more of a 2nd gen shop though so i wasn't too suprised.

 

haha if you were in MD i could get you passed. A friend works and we held the pipe like 6 ft back from the exhaust for my FD to pass lol

 

The turbo isnt attached to the LIM, you need to unbolt it from the exhaust manifold, which is under the LIM, not too hard to do at all.. If you look around, there are plenty of shops that are generous with sticker.
