Budds Creek MIR 7 Hang!

Any Virginians or Marylanders wanna meet up on either Sunday Sept. 4th or the 5th for a Test and Tune session? $30 gets you in and on the track for as many runs as you want. I went to Midnight Madness last Friday and will NEVER go to that again. 3+ hours with only 2 runs. Sept. 4th is sponsored by the Quartermasters race group, they have some pretty fast American muscle but if we get there early, we'd have the track mosty to ourselves for a little while. Mon. has no sponsored event so it's open racing all day. Hope to see some of you guys down there! Brian

I was thinking about heading to the Bug Out in Mannassas this Sunday Brian, but if I don't I would certainly head over to Budds Creek with you.

Brian, put some 100 octane in there and launch that bad boy at 7000 - 8000 rpms and hold the **** on jack. Dave told me you were being to shy with the throttle or as Dave says "Dont be a *****!"

Yeah I just didn't wanna break anything. Atleast I didn't put it in the wall and got to drive it home, so it was a successful track day
I put 110 in that bad boy and ran slower. Talked to Ray today and found out why, so I got some good pointers and should be ready by this weekend. If I break an axle you gotta help me replace it!

Did you get a 3rd gen. yet?

Yeah man, thanks for letting me borrow them. I didn't really use them to their potential so I'd like to try this weekend since I still have some 110 octane in the tank. I'm gonna mix it with 93, my map wasn't setup to handle that high octane. Shoulda put the 104 in and leaned it out 5%. Maybe Mon. would be better.

HAHA! Yeah after my first run I could expect that. Ray said I actually lost power because of the 110. I think I know what I have to do next time. Dave, I know you'd be the first one to help me fix my back end if it breaks! I tried your cell, but there was some other message on there.
Hey Jon, can you make it down to run your car too?

Sorry It's a new cell from work and I have not changed the message yet. Of coarse I would help work on your car just need notice.

Jon's car gets break up or something from the money metal purple box he is using I believe. So no racing till he gets AEM or something better than he has now from what I understand. Beer drinking is allowed though..

Oh yea I think I smell something.

Monday would be better for me.
Do you know what time the runs would
start on Monday??

I just bought a E39 M5 and want to time it.
And I need to adjust my boost controller on my FD.

Gates open at 10am. I might try to get there right at 10 so I'd have a lot of track time right off the bat. I guess I could start drinking beer right after I have some coffee!

Yeah the purple is giving me ugly breakup over 7,000 rpm and I'm just not doing a damn thing as far as pushing the car until I get something better in place.

Beer drinking is always allowed, I may bring the FD down but not race.

Brian, Trust me you are better off getting to the gates about 20-30min early if you really want to get in some quick passes. The lanes fill up fast.

Jon, Yea I am most likely going to go. I have not been drinking at 10am on a Monday morning since highschool.

Guess I was hoping there won't be too many people on labor day since they'd be on a trip somewhere. I'll get there earlier to make sure I get enough runs.

Where are all the other Marylanders that talk big 11's and 12's??? I wanna see some other 7's show me how it's done!

Your assuming all the rednecks in Chuck County have something to do other than drink beer and race cars. Trust me there will be people there.

As far as rotaries down here in Southern Maryland. We are it. The other few Maryland guys all go to either 75/80 or Cecil county. I don't know of any rotaries other than maybe Jon or Sean who race at Capitol.

kevin, do you have a ported motor or are you on stock ports? If you are on stockers I would like to do a heads up one day at the track (once my car is done of course).

Can ya make it on Monday morning? Budds Creek is kinda far from you so I'd understand.
Hey Neil, bring your car down anyway, I'd like to see what you had done since Nopi.
