Bought a new backup track toy!

I decided to sell the IS 300 and pick up an E30 M3 for daily duty/ backup track car. If anyone wants to buy an IS300 let me know. I'll give you all a good deal. Here are some pic of the new baby.

Jon, the IS is a 01 w/ 63K on the clock. It has been a great car, but I'm just not an automatic kind of guy, I gave it a shot though. Yeah lets grab a beer or 6 one of these evenings.

Cesaros, the M3 is already pretty well sorted:

1. valve adjustment
2. intake gaskets
3. new cap, rotor, wire and plugs
4. oil pan baffle, oil pan gasket
5. driveshaft + flex disc
6. tie rods
7. HR Race and Bilstein Sports
8. ST sway bars with reinforcements
9. Fikse FM5s, 17x8 all around
10. stainless steel brake lines
11. sparco front strut bar
12. shifter rod seal and rear seal
13. VSR center section
14. Supersprint exhaust
15. new O2 sensor
16. new motor mounts
17, new strut tower mounts, rear shock mounts
18. oil filter housing seals
19. new power steering hoses
20. new timing chain tensioner
21. Hawk HT-10s all around
22. new front rotors
23. new synthetic fluid in anything thats fluid...except coolant.
24. New Sparco Steering Wheel
25. M Billet Shift ****
26. ITG filter in the airbox.
27. Dinan chip

Plus, I got it for a steal!

Niiice, my friend had a 325 that body style and it was hella easy to spin the back out. Can't imagine what that M3 can do Hows that Supersprint sound, I hear only good things about them.

Really, I used to have a 89 several years back. These cars are so well balanced it takes a force of nature to spin one.

The supersprint is very nice. A little louder than stock, but not that much.

Thanks Dave! I'll have to take you for a spin How's the FD coming along?

Auto IS300s arn't that bad, but I waited until 2002 when I got mine just so I could get a manual. The new IS250 ( AWD one ) is only in auto but it's pretty sweet. How much did you want for yours Pat?

In any event, that's a nice BMW

Nice car. Looks really clean.

Heh. I got a similar setup as well. My DD/Backup Track car is a 97 E36M3/4. Since my primary car is an RX7... the M3 sees more track time. lol.
