VA BOLO: *** STOLEN PARTS! *** Reward! ***

If anyone happens upon some shady character selling RX-7 parts keep an eye out. If you have any info that least the arrest/conviction of whomever stole my ****, you get to KEEP whatever you bought offa them PLUS an additional couple hundred bucks from me.

At the beginning of this month, some lowlife stole a **** ton of parts from my shed.

This included a case of alternators and starters for first and second gens. Many of those were stamped with rebuild stickers. Some say "World Class" at least one is a Bosch factory rebuild unit, and one alternator has a brown/gold sticker form a shop I've never heard of. There is also an FD alternator with a blue anodized dual belt pulley in the mix.

A front S4 FC subframe was stolen. It included the GXL AAS shocks with actuators, control arms, hubs, brake rotors, calipers (4-piston)... It was all bolted together under a tarp behind my house.

Assorted FC brake calipers.

A crate full of Turbo II and N/A manifolds was stolen.

A full cage for a 1st gen was stolen. It has an SCCA serial number welded to it, but I lost the log book. If I ever find the log book, I will post the number. It's an AutoPower bolt in cage and the door bars are missing from it. Meets SPEC RX-7 requirements.

Two red hoods in good shape, One was aluminum (From 1988 Vert), one was steel (From 1986 GXL). The aluminum one was absolutely flawless. Both had the insulation on the underside of them.

A pair of Ford Mustang wheels with Toyo Proxes RA-1 R-Compound tires. (Fits 5 lug FC.)

Other Non-RX-7 related **** was stolen:

Four Dodge Ram 2500 (8 lug) Aluminum alloy wheels, Three had bald Michelin LTX M/S tires on them. One without the tire has a hairline crack and will not hold air.

Roll of Chainlink fence. 6 ft tall, 50 ft long, black vinyl coated.

Harbor Freight dolly/lift table. It's yellow and has a foot pedal for lifting.

(Newer models are orange... Mine's older.)

Harper Brand hand truck - It's green and converts to a flat 4 wheel cart. Similar to this:
http://www.harpertrucks.com/product_...php?product=38 But the upper handles are different.

MTD Wood chipper, 5 HP model, but the engine blew and I bolted a Briggs 8 HP Industrial/Commercial engine to it.
Looks exactly like this except for the engine:

Black 30 gallon air tank on wheels (Compressor was bad, so it was removed.)

Newish Stihl MS-170 14" Chainsaw

Honda 13 HP Pressure washer

I have a feeling it's all been turned into scrap metal, but just in the off chance it turns up.

wow!!!looks like the lowlifesreally cleaned you out,im sure youve already got the police report and all the usual crap done but i would make the cops contact every nearby scrap yard with the complete list, reason is,alot of recycling places only want the items and money they bring, they dont care how they were acquired,i know, the oner of my local place was arrested for accepting large rolls of cable(obviously stolen, duh!)and now i cant even take a battery over there without giving my drivers license cause theyve cracked down on all the recycycing centers so bad!!ill keep my eyes open on ebay,no 7 parts up for auction will get past me,and of course theres the area craigslist listings,7 parts obviously are going to take some great effort to sell good luck man

I check the MD/lower PA craigslists all the time for parts, so if I see something, I'll let you know.

well that really sucks. This might help you, a website called state wide list will search every county craigslist ads for a selected state you could just try and use that to locate your stuff. I'll keep my eyes open in the akron area northern ohio

Dude, somebody you know did this, not some random person, but someone who knew what was in your shed and it's value. It's a shame, but this was likely someone who knows you through a local RX-7 club. Good luck getting your stuff back, but that is where I would look first.

Something like this is done through someone you know or may have seen before, there is no way someone systematically took all the parts without leaving a trace.
