Can anyone recommend a body shop for a complete paint job for an SA? I live in Cherry Hill, NJ. I feel like a kid fresh out of college in 2008 trying to get an entry level job. Nobody wants to touch this thing. Every place with good reviews just wants to do insurance work on luxury cars. The few restoration places left only want to do old domestics. I'm looking for a very high quality job and not afraid to pay for it. Any suggestions?

 

I've been having the same issue with a different car (335i). I'm wondering if it's not worth it right now for the independent shops due to supply cost for certain paints.

 

When you go to a local cars & coffee type show, socialize with other car owners who had good paint work done on their cars and ask them who they used for the job. Chances are they'll give you the name of a guy who either owns or works at a typical body shop that does nothing but insurance/collision repair work, who does a few paint/restoration jobs on the side/after hours.
