Body shop referral needed....and a bright green FD spotted on 495.
So....a buck attacked my FD a few weeks ago and I need a body shop to fix the damage. It's not as bad as it could have been but I'd like to get the work done right. The left fender sustained the most damage. He then rolled on the hood and roof causing minor scratches and dents. (Good thing the FD is low and the buck was huge. He's okay - he limped off.)
Anyone have any recommendations in the DMV? I did some google searching and found Master Crafters in Rockville to be highly recommended on BMW sites. I went there and the guy was very informative in telling me about the paint job of my car (it was re-painted before) and they seem to be good - but they haven't been exactly responsive since that visit.
Springfield Auto Body was also recommended from my research....but I haven't been out there yet.
I also saw a pristine bright green FD on 495 on Monday - between the 236 and Gallows Rd overpasses. We were stuck in mid-day traffic. Beautiful paint job! I bet the owner of that ride can point me to a good body shop.
Thanks for any help.

They fixed my VW twice.
It was hit in the same spot twice......
The paint match was perfect, I don't have anything but good things to say about them.
Dan also told me my old FC wasn't worth painting. I still crack up about that.
They're the best you'll find in the area, they stand behind their work, and they do things perfect the first time.

I've gotten some minor stuff by Dan at Mr. Spoiler and yes he does great work. However, if you are looking for a little break on price and still good quality work, I'll throw in East Coast Refinishing in Manassas. I've seen several of their project cars in person and my car is currently there for a full repaint. Get in touch with Steve and tell him Victor with the red wide body FD sent you.
