IT DAWN UPON ME ONE DAY TO LOOK UP A ROTOR ENGINE AFTER WATCHING THE FORMULA D COMPETITION IN WHICH THERE IS WAS A BLACK THIRD GEN WITH A FOUR ROTOR ENGINE. THAT **** WAS CRAZY I KNEW THAT IN THE 70S CORVETTE ADOPTED THE FOUR ROTOR ENGINE BUT SWAPED IT OUT FOUR BETTER GAS MILEAGE AND ALSO IN 1991 LEMANS MAZDA WON WITH THE FOUR ROTOR ENGINE

NOW IN MY OPINION THIS IS THE SICKEST SOUNDING ENGINE CHECK OUT TIS LINK AND POST YOUR OPINION

Ok.... Corvette made two (2) rotary powered prototypes in the mid 70's. One was a four rotor, the other was a two rotor.

I'm not sure what happened to the 4-rotor, however the 2-rotor is alive and well here in the UK.

2-rotor Corvette:

I don't remember exactly off the top of my head, however I believe it was N/A.

Yeah, that thing was DEF hot!! Though I'd probably take one of the rx-4's that were at the event over the 'vette ^_^

The scoot 4 rotor doesn't have P-Ports and sounds more like my NA 3 rotor. I like the sound. Mine's a little more high-pitched, because I have the 10.2:1 compression rotors though.

I'm building a supercharged 20b car now. We'll see how that works out.

Good luck with the build.... you should keep us posted with the build..just a thought

Both the 2 and 4 rotor proto types were N/A

Body on the 2 rotor was Pinifarina designed.

Lots of info on the Corvettes here
