is now under new management some of you might know him or have seen him on Pinks a few years ago he had the blue chevy luv pick up and beat the guy with the red step side. His name is Jamie A really down to earth guy.There having a car and bike show
July 25th I will post up more info as I get it but lets try to get as many rotary guys as we can.

 

Definitely down as long as my car hasn't gone kaput by then. Jamie's a good guy, glad he's running the show. Should be a pretty good event, as well as the shop should be a better place to go now. I should even have my door vents by then too, as it's only taken like a month and a half to find a pair that's in good shape and less than $200

 

What happened to the guy that used to run it, that had a job on Pinks?

 

If you mean Brian, the original owner, I thought he got a whole show of his own and that's why he left. That's just rumor mill stuff though, I don't have a reliable source. Either way, Jamie is a stand up guy (no pun intended) so it should work out just fine if he's running the place.

Here's a pic of the truck he ran on Pink's, just for the heck of it. This is at Insane Performance, Jeff Reinohl's place. Jeff is the cheeser in the pic. He did some chassis and testing work on it, and he happened to have it in his shop at the same time he was doing the exhaust on my FD.

Well here is the deal,Brian is now taking over on pinks all out for Nate and the brother they got the boot.He does have a show but its not televised its called arm drop racing him and rich go around to tracks and do the show almost the same thing as all out with a 10k purse.Brian sold the shop to Jamie and his people.Jamie and them got a new commercial that will be airing in the next couple of weeks on speed channel and spike.It is a go for the show

I'm going to attend the show if I can, but I found a buyer for the rotary so it's coming out this weekend. I haven't started collecting parts for the swap yet so it's going to take awhile for this one.

 

As it turns out, a couple interesting metal chunks dropped in to the oilpan so I nixed the sale, although the motor still seems to run fine. If I can replace my burned out headlight switch and harness I should be able to make this one. Anything new going on with this show Roy? Are you helping Jamie with it or just passing the word about the show on? Does he need a hand with any prep or at the show, do you know?

 

ill probably make it to this one..its a 2 hour drive for me but oh well...will there be any professional photographers and or models to get some shots of my car? what about trophies or awards?

I hear ya. I'll try to lend a hand if my schedule doesn't change and I can still make it. I just got back from a 30 hour trip to and from Chicago, and leaving for NY in the morning, back to Chicago.. or something like that. Some days I don't even know where the hell I am lol.

Saw the new ELD commercial while watching a tivo'd "Jesse James is a Dead Man" last night. I think some directorial help would be in order, but all in all it was better than the tv show, since we at least got to see ***** lol

 

and a blue rx7 in the first 3 seconds of the commercial is bonus points lol

 

Hope it was a good turnout. Roommate issues suck. Anyone need a place to live that doesn't have drama to bring with them?

 

so im surprised no one has left any feedback on the event?? i was unable to make it because my girl ended up having to work and i hate driving alone, it would have been over a 2 hour drive by myself which sucks and i only do if i have to..

 

I did not make it either, as I had an Auto-X Session that day!!!

 

The normal,no rx7s but mine.It was a small turnout,alot of vendors but they just did not get the word out enuff.
