Anyone else racing? I know alot of you guys are makin some kick *** power now. I'll be running the car for the first time at high boost.. And with a STOCK tranny! PPG dog box will be out of the car getting a new upgraded output shaft. In the meantime I bought a brand new stock tranny. We'll see if I can blow that up...lol...Hope to see some of you guys racing.

BTW, that brand new tranny is good as toast. Input shaft is going bye bye.

 

Make sure you have your 4 wheeler close to tow it back to the trailer!

A brand new tranny from my local Mazda dealer is over $4,000. Why Ernie, WHY?!?!?!

Don't know where you got your info, but try $2000. Ray Crowe told me it has all the upgrades that Mazda has done over the years too, so we'll see....

 

I got the info from my local Mazda dealer when a buddy of mine was looking into getting a new one. That's what they quoted me on the phone. The guy asked me if I was sitting down before he told me how much it was going to be.

 

I'll try my best to be down there...

 

It's good to know that they are really only $2000 new. That's much better.

 

I want to come but it's about 6-7 hours away from where I am and with a trailer, even longer! A few of my buddies might come out there with a high hp honda.

Not at all. Just gonna reach 700rwhp at alot lower boost than before. Not trying for more power. Hell, I havn't went down the track yet at 700, let alone anymore! Should be fun
