my friend brought his brand new z06. 443 at the wheels. 427 torque. temp plates still on. he went to the autocross school in the morning and did the event afterwards. they didn't change the course really. so he knew the course inside and out. i only did the event. he had like 35 runs before the event started. his best was 44 something and my best was 42.1 i think. so the FD has it going on

This event was a blast! I'd like to make it to the next one even though my street tires are melting and a little less round. Scott, the pics and video were awesome. Thanks for posting them.Maybe now more people will come out.

Wait, i just noticed the exhaust on the blue FD, what is that? Looks really good, and reminds me of the RE-Amemiya one.

 

its highly exotic 3.5 turndown from jegs with silver spray paint. the muffler is a hooker aerochamber (also 3.5 inch). it was a little loud for me so i welded in a dynomax 3.5 inch bullet in front of the aerochamber; it helped a little but its still pretty loud.

You're a good driver scott. What suspension are you running? Its a HUGE difference between yours and the yellow fd.

 

thanks dude. i have mazdaspeed coilovers made by KYB. 4 way adjustable shocks, adjustable ride height. -1.7 neg camber. hawk pads. ssr 17x8.5 fronts/9.5 rears. v700 kumhos.

 

results are up. i came in first place in my class "U". but here are the rx7's results, and the z06.
